FETTERED SONG [VIDEO] (WEEK 25 - Monday)
[ The video opens to a shot of Sigyn's dress's front, at stomach level. Besides the interesting color of dress Sigyn is wearing, what is more interesting is that Sigyn is singing, just as before when she'd been singing inside the hospital. Like the hospital song, her voice is melancholy, but there's a touch of love in the tinged melancholy. She is seated upon a branch of a strong tree outside near the pathways into the mountains. She wears her cloak loosely over her surcoat and her dress, but never fear, she's quite warm with her flax linen clothing and her fur-lined boots she'd been wearing when she first arrived.
It is early morning, so many people may not be awake to hear the little goddess sing a ballad from her mother's book, but if there are people awake and actively listening to their devices, they shall hear a most lovely, melodious song of Vanir heartache, once more in the sharp, guttural, yet oddly melodic, tones of Dwarven. ]
[ The song ends and Sigyn's chest rises significantly ...and then she lifts the device so that her face may be seen. Her cheeks are rosy from the cold, but she looks eager. More so than usual. ] My apologies once more, fellow citizens. I wanted to gift to every person of wise ear the song of my mother's heart, which she sang to me when I only a babe in my swaddlings.
[ A strand of gold hair falls out of her hood and she quickly reaches up a hand and tucks the strand behind her ear, back into her hood. ] Sir Chime. I believe we may start crafting your wares today if that is appropriate. I am eager to hear the stories you are promising to tell me.

[She's not a very distinctive... not-human and that's a big area, but he'll work it out. Pity he doesn't know what she smells like.]
I can fly you back, or we could walk. Either way.

[ She's always wanted to try, but most winged mounts belong to Asgard, as well as the Valkyrie. ]

[And he turns off the communicator. Still doesn't like the thing.]

[Action]
The eight-foot-tall dragonoid monster, spines and frills lowered to neutral friendliness by raksura standards, lands beside her, lashing his tail twice for balance.]
Hello.
[Action]
He is absolutely beautiful, Sigyn thinks, marveling at his coloring and skin and wings.
She gets off her rock and makes a lame attempt at a curtsey. ]
Greetings, Warrior Chime.

[Though it's closer to correct by raksura standards than most of what he gets from humans. He has to remind himself again that she's not human. He certainly can't tell.]
Would you still like to fly?

Alright. You're much lighter than an arbora and I've carried plenty of them, so don't worry about falling.
[He stoops over a bit and holds out his arms to pick her up.]

I am light as a feather, you shall find.

[Humans are smaller than all but the littlest arbora, as a rule, and he'd probably be able to carry her comfortably even in his grounding form. Now he might as well be carrying a fledgling.]
Here we go.
[It takes a little extra effort to take off from the ground with a passenger, even a little one. He crouches low and snaps his wings out to kick off, and the beginning of the flight is very bumpy as he gets them comfortably above the buildings.]

We are up so high!

Oh, not very. It's only a short trip. If I had to go a long distance I'd get up to cloud level.

I would very much like to see that one day.
