Okay, so woke up here naked. That's a new one. I'm going to take a wild guess and say this is another case of interdimensional strangeness.

Video, audio, and text. As far as the "interdimensional strangeness" part is concerned, we're still working out where we are. And when, for that matter. The planet is called "Verdana".

But those of us who woke up on the ship like you did have come from various points across time and space.

So there's at least two places that do that. Just what we needed. No one is insisting we've always been here, I hope?

Not at all; I think the inhabitants of this world would all rather we went back to where we came from. But what other place does this?

A town called Mayfield. Less naked on a spaceship and more sweatervests and fake families though.

Sweater vests don't sound so bad, but fake families sound worse. Was it on another planet?

It claimed to be somewhere called Earth that almost everyone else had heard of. Where it actually was, well, that was more complicated.

Earth is where I'm from, but there are others here from different planets. Where was it actually? I don't mind complicated explanations.

Well, we never did find out where the projectors were. But the whole town turned out to be virtual.

I don't think that's the case here, but that's fascinating. Where was the virtual town located in reality?

Not actually sure. Never saw the outside. They claimed it was based on their past, but they said a lot of things.

I can imagine. On the positive side, at least you're somewhat prepared for this sort of experience, even if this world is different.
