So I made it past the Authorities. It was pretty fun stirring up a storm around them. They act like they've never seen high winds or something! Anyway, I'm past them now and checking the place out. Everything sort of looks like the same though, so I'm not sure what building does what.
[The camera turns on to show off the uniform buildings. The camera moves and bounces lightly as if someone is walking. It's pretty leisure at first before it picks up as Jack rides the wind towards the Silver Bay. There we see some water facilities. Man, this place was pretty hi-tech compared to the outside. There really isn't anyone outside either, so they're all probably in the the buildings at the moment.
The camera turns off for a few minutes as Jack approaches the dome itself.]
I think there are homes inside the dome They're in some kind of tower, I think? Guess that's where people go when the work is done. Pretty neat, I guess. Makes you wonder what scares them about us though, since they obviously aren't in a hurry to leave the dome. Oh, hey, there's some kind of flying craft!
[Again, the camera turns on to show a hovercraft landing north of the Silver River, on the west side of the dome. It doesn't show a very clear picture, since it's fairly far away and Jack knows he'd end up shaking the camera too much if he kept flying around. He just wanted to show people in the Outer Divide a bit of what he's discovering now, he'll talk more about it later as he flies around. It's easier to do that when not texting.
To those who can see Jack, you'll see his hand touching the dome a bit. It jerks back with a grunt, that was an odd sensation. So he uses his staff this time and his signature fern-like frost bursts from where the staff touched it. It only spreads for about a foot in every direction before beginning to melt. Obviously, to those who never saw Jack, all they see is the frost blooming.]
It's kind of warm. Kind of like being near a lightning storm. I'm going to check this place out some more, let me know if you want me to go to a specific area, I'm sure I can get in!
[Well, except inside the dome. He saw no way in there, but he could certainly check out the other stuff! This was honestly very exciting for him.]

Don't worry, I'll be fine! They can't see me.

[He's too used to being on his own. Brushed off as the wind nipping at your nose and whatnot. And Earth, at least, new the name Jack Frost for that reason. None of these people even knew what Jack Frost was, let alone who he was.]

[A moment of irony: back home, Wing had been the one taking chances, sneaking out, risking himself. So this is what Dai Atlas had felt.]
[A nod.] All right. Just...if anything happens--anything--please get in touch with me.
I will! Don't worry!
[He chuckles, giving a small salute before finally signing off to fly around some more.]

[Her face pulls forward into a frown. There's no real point in dancing around this.] To speak plainly: If we were to release an airborne weapon, can you see any good places?
[Text]
The point is to kill them.

What do you think the rest of this information is going to be used for?
[Text]
Not for you to kill people with, I guess. Still though, the dome is pretty much one giant piece. So I'm not sure how the get their airflow. I've flown around and over it already.

Don't put yourself at additional risk if you can avoid it, but if you can get a look at where inside the dome any military or police response is originating from, it'd be damned useful.
[Text]
Hm, I think I can do that. The residential towers seems to be farther away, so any protection they get would be on their outside. I'm not familiar with military strategies and all that stuff though.
Could be where those hovercraft come from, I'll see if there's another spot they tend to land.

The Authorities don't treat their own people much better than they treat us. They have no freedom to do anything except what the Authorities allow them to do. They aren't even allowed to have books -- everything's kept electronic, and what the files say is controlled and monitored by the Authorities. We want to see them neutralized, yeah, but not at the cost of the civvies.
It makes it a lot more of a challenge, but it means I can still look at myself in the mirror in the morning.
[Text]
What about the outside air makes it toxic to them? And how would we help them if, in the end, they can't actually leave the dome?
[Encrypted Audio]
The outside air is toxic because the the dome people don't have functional immune systems. I don't know whether something happened to them, or whether it's from living in a closed environment so long, but it means that a case of the sniffles for us is a death sentence for them. A couple of our scientists are working on what to do about that, but in the meantime it means that any regime change in the dome needs to not destroy it.
And... well... [Kaidan sounds vaguely puzzled at being asked the 'why'. He attempts to answer it anyway.] That's something we're still hammering out. Revolutions are good things, but they're messy, even if the end result's better than the start. You should look up a guy named Tony Stark, though. He's pretty interested in the dome and what to do about it.
[Text]
I'm Jack Frost, if that helps any.
Well, you may wanna tell the trigger happy one I just spoke to. She seemed to want to know just how to get inside so she could bomb the place. You know, because "it's war".
[He got to witness the American Revolution and countless other wars in American history, the World Wars, and a couple others given his lifespan. He's not much of a war person at this point, though he'll fight if he has to.]
Revolutions are generally messy, but they are good things, you're right. Where could I find Tony Stark, though? I'll probably have to convince him of my existence first before talking to him, unless he responds to texting the invisible guy like everyone else has so far.
[Encrypted Audio]
[The irony in assigning Magneto's alternate-reality daughter the same category as Magneto sadly escapes Kaidan entirely.]
And... you mean Jack Frost as in like Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny sort of thing? I, uh... well, you'll find Tony up at the ship, usually. If you're invisible to anyone not a five year old, that might be a challenge, but tell him I sent you and communicate over text and he'll accept the evidence he can see-- uh, perceive.
[Text]
[Entire fall harvest? Geez.]
Yeah, I'm that Jack Frost. Santa Claus actually goes by North and the Easter Bunny is Bunnymund. And there are a few teenagers who are believing in me right now, so it's a start.
Will do, thanks.
[Encrypted Audio]
[Kaidan sounds weary, even absent a visual link to confirm it.]
Well, thanks for the heads-up. I'll try and make sure she doesn't kick any hornet's nests if I hear anything.
Good luck with Stark... and I'll have to ask you about the Easter Bunny after I've wrapped my head around what you're saying.
[Text]
[Encrypted Audio:]
[Kaidan sounds somewhat apologetic about this, but with a chin-up quality to his voice that says he's decided the disembodied messages and video feed deserves honesty.]
For your reality, well, let's just say we'll have to sit down and talk some time you're not buzzing the dome.
[Text]
I'll be looking forward to it, then. As long as you don't mind talking through this, anyway.
[Assuming it's gonna be while before Kaiden sees him.]
[Encrypted Audio]
[There's a bit of regret shading the edges of Kaidan's voice, as he reflects on just how long it's been since he's fallen out of touch with Tali, but it doesn't completely undercut the easy humour.]
Let's just say that I'll deal. Keep safe, enjoy pissing off the Authorities.

Having fun and pissing off the adults is what I do best.
