Hey, I'm looking for someone who's handy with tech who can maybe help me out? See, I have several medical tools that came with me from home, and they run on a certain kind of battery power. As you can imagine, this power's running low now and I don't have a proper docking and charging station for them, so I was wondering if any of you could take a look? I can search for scraps or do errands for Edmund to get the parts, I just need to know what parts I'd need first. And, well, someone to put it together for me.

[She sounds a bit sheepish there. If she could figure this out herself, she would, but it's not her area of expertise.]

Obviously I don't want to take anybody away from any important projects they're working on now. This is sort of just an offer if you're bored and want to build some tech. And I could... [What could she do to pay such a person back?] I don't know. You can tell me what you'd like in return and I'll see if I can do it or get it for you.

[After this, there's a pause, but then she goes on.]

Anyway, have any of you experienced this fog that's coming first hand before? What does it do, exactly?

That and anythin' with more teeth than brains. Won't be as good as Numbuh One's work back home, but man, he won awards for that thing. Numbuh Five don't know where he even found time to design it all, let alone build it. And there's only one of me.

[The camera shifts to a view out of a nearby window, that shows the girl's in what appears to be a large, half-finished treehouse.]

Anyway, Numbuh Five don't fancy finding out the hard way which critters 'round here can climb trees.

Oh, I see.

[She's getting the impression that this girl might just be talking in the third person.]

It's a good plan, then. Anyway, I'm Christine. It's nice to meet you.

[Hey, she's not the only one around here with odd quirks! But yeah. Abby speaks in the third person.]

Numbuh Five, second in command of Sector V of the- aww, y'know what? Forget it. Not like any of that matters out here. But hey, a battery charger sounds useful, and Numbuh Five's got a whole bunch of scraps lyin' around. Not sure if any of it's any good, but 's all I got.

[One advantage of being a kid - nobody really expects her to do any work. She does some simple errands for supplies, but has a lot of time for her own projects. Including scavenging weird junk that only a child would think was cool.]
