[Wes has managed to work out where he works now. What the hell, This Timeline Wes?]

So. Is anyone else seriously questioning their new timeline counterpart's judgement?

[He shakes his head]

I could not possibly have had that much to drink.

You just get back?

[tiptoeing]

I did, yes. I've been filled in about what happened, but I'm trying to sort out being back before I analyze that too closely. I'm probably going to have to find new jobs, but I don't think I could work for the Authorities.

[kettchmeifyoucan]

I'm not quite sure what to do on that front. I don't exactly have a lot of skills that are suited to civilian life.

[tiptoeing]

...You have military skills then, I'm guessing? [Military types make him a little nervous...with the exception of Captain America. Steve makes him nervous for entirely different reasons.]

[kettchmeifyoucan]

I'm a pilot. New Republic Starfighter Command.

[Not really that much call for those here]

[tiptoeing]

[Now Bruce is less nervous, and more intrigued] Really? What kind of ships do you pilot? Anything like the one we woke up in?

[kettchmeifyoucan]

I mostly fly single seaters. Or act as gunner in a two man craft. Even our carriers aren't nearly as massive as that ship though. The engines are nothing like our hyperdrives either.

[tiptoeing]

I'm sure you could help us make sense of some things, regardless. Studying a spaceship is a little tricky when it's the only one you've ever been in. [Not that it's ever stopped him.]

[kettchmeifyoucan]

Yeah, that'd be tricky. I'm no mechanic, but I've had enough grumble at me.

[Handy when he was pretending to be one to steal a ship]

[tiptoeing]

I'll certainly keep you in mind if we need your help.

[kettchmeifyoucan]

You've also got my buddy Luke and his girl Kaylee. Shouldn't take long to run into her on the ship.

[tiptoeing]

I've worked with Kaylee before, actually. I haven't met Luke yet, though.

[kettchmeifyoucan]

Probably busy dashing around doing Jedi things.

[tiptoeing]

[Bruce tilts his head, curious.] What's a Jedi?

[kettchmeifyoucan]

[And other questions he's gotten pretty used to]

Guardians of the Republic, champions of justice, all around heroic types. Luke or Kerra would be the ones to ask about the whole Force and Jedi thing though.

[tiptoeing]

I'll keep that in mind. I have a few friends Luke might have some things in common with, though. [Bruce doesn't really consider himself a heroic type.]

He'd probably be eager to hear about them.

Actually, he's just an eager guy.
