Oh, I'm not across the board against magic. The Stranger is one of our best allies, and we even sometimes managed to be civil to the Council of Mages. Heck, some of the Danger Federation kids do magic, I think. It's just gonna be a long time before studyin' it all nice-like really gets to be an option again.
