Week 40 | Monday | Video + Text
[ For most, this video feed might look like nothing but a nice shot of scenery in the forest. Birds chirp and flutter on and off camera but, besides that, there's nothing really happening and no one in sight. For those that believe in her, however, they'll see Toothiana in all her wonderfully bright colors and with a small smile on her face.
Despite the feed being video, a text message accompanies it. ]
Hello, everyone!
My name is Toothiana. While that's my given name, almost everyone where I was from referred to me as the 'Tooth Fairy.' Yes, /that/ Tooth Fairy. It's a familiar story for most but to those that it's not-- I collect the teeth of children and leave behind a small gift in exchange. The reason I collect the teeth is because the most precious memories of childhood are stored in them. It's why my other title, though lesser known, is the Guardian of Memories.
[ Though there's no actual delay in the post, she had deliberated for quite a few minutes before figuring out what to say next. ]
I know it's probably a little strange but I'm not the first spirit here. There's Jack Frost and Akito, to my knowledge, and I'm similar to them. You can't see me if you don't believe in me. I don't expect all of you to believe me in me though. Not right away, at least! I hope that you do eventually, of course, as belief is the only thing keeping me in existence.
