[ For most, this video feed might look like nothing but a nice shot of scenery in the forest. Birds chirp and flutter on and off camera but, besides that, there's nothing really happening and no one in sight. For those that believe in her, however, they'll see Toothiana in all her wonderfully bright colors and with a small smile on her face.
Despite the feed being video, a text message accompanies it. ]

Hello, everyone!

My name is Toothiana. While that's my given name, almost everyone where I was from referred to me as the 'Tooth Fairy.' Yes, /that/ Tooth Fairy. It's a familiar story for most but to those that it's not-- I collect the teeth of children and leave behind a small gift in exchange. The reason I collect the teeth is because the most precious memories of childhood are stored in them. It's why my other title, though lesser known, is the Guardian of Memories.

[ Though there's no actual delay in the post, she had deliberated for quite a few minutes before figuring out what to say next. ]

I know it's probably a little strange but I'm not the first spirit here. There's Jack Frost and Akito, to my knowledge, and I'm similar to them. You can't see me if you don't believe in me. I don't expect all of you to believe me in me though. Not right away, at least! I hope that you do eventually, of course, as belief is the only thing keeping me in existence.

I'll be happy to answer any questions that you may have. Thank you for your time!

Well, I may not believe you exist in my reality, but I do believe you're the Tooth Fairy in someone's reality. I take it that's good enough. It works with Jack and Akito.

I do. I don't know either of them well, but I'd consider them friends.

[Never all that polite without good reason, Loki's propped up his communicator on a stack of books and continues going through the papers in front of him, looking for all the world like any scruffy, disinterested teenager buried in homework.]

You're a friend of Jack's, then, or just of a similar nature? Though he seems to be everyone's friend.

[To Loki's mind, Jack's comfortably and clearly gregarious and fairly amusing. Which says a lot about His Highness.]

Yes. I've never had to worry about it though until here!

It's... a big sacrifice to make, tethering you existence to belief, but it's one you have to make to become a Guardian.

We're friends and co-workers, yes! Jack does have that kind of personality so I'm not surprised he's made friends with the people here.

I hope we can be friends, too, but of course just having your belief--sort of--is nice enough.

[Friends with Jack Frost and the Tooth Fairy? Seems more like a fever dream than reality, but such is this place and her experiences here. It's no worse than running from dinosaurs.]

I have to say, it's interesting that memories are stored in teeth. I've never heard that part of the deal before when I was young.

[Of course, she knows in her world, it was her parents who gave her credits, not the Tooth Fairy. But obviously there was bleed through from Toothiana's reality to hers. It's just the memories part was left out.]

[ It must be a bit strange, from a human perspective, and she realizes that. Granted, this entire place was a bit odd to begin with. ]

Oh, yes! Well, I mean, I'd have to collect them for a reason. It'd be odd to gather them and guard them if they weren't important.

[ Though, truthfully, she might have still done it anyway. ]

The same thing! Just because there are less children doesn't mean that I stop doing my job completely. It just leaves me with a bit more free time than usual is all.

Your brother?

[ Ah, so, they could see him immediately as well. ]

And why are you able to believe in me so readily?

All we can do is hope.

It may seem like she's itchy but she's just preening more than usual.
Keep her warm and somewhere quiet and allow her to rest as long as she needs right now.

Is it really so strenuous on her?

I never thought of it that way before. I just thought you really liked teeth for some reason.

[She never assumed a fairy would have a legitimate reason for hoarding teeth.]

A matter of different worlds, I suppose. A being like any of you would be wholly unremarkable at home. It's hardly a matter of belief.

[He suspects he doesn't really get any credit for it, either.]

It can be!
Molting isn't exactly a pleasant experience but usually a necessary one.

If I'm unremarkable then I can't imagine the kinds of beings you have!

[ Because, as far as she knows, even among other spirits she's unusual. Most were humanoid with Bunny and her being exceptions. ]
