If so, how do they react when used on a non-human?
Are they turned human too or are their abilities simply taken away?

Glad to hear it. My schedule's flexible, since it's mostly working on the ship, so if you get me a time I'll show up with the collar and explain to you all how it works and how to remove it.

I probably won't stay through the whole thing -- I think Salvation's at a pretty critical point with that countdown running and I don't want to leave her too long.
