[Mulan's voice is muffled and part of her face is hidden behind the regulation gas mask she was issued at work, but for those that would recognize them her eyes and hair are still clearly visible. Likewise, the familiar armor that covers her upper body.]

For those of you that are more recent arrivals - I'm aware there are a few of you - it is to be advised you avoid coming into contact with the strange mists that have been filling the area the past couple of days. Breathing in this air can cause you to experience unpredictable and dangerous effects. [Her muffled voice turns even more grim and her eyes flash darkly as she recalls her own personal encounter with the fog's abilities, and she hurries on past giving herself time to reflect.] Though not everyone reacts the same, it can dangerous to your health for a multitude of reasons. The best course of action would be to remain indoors if you can, and avoid them completely.

If there are any small errands or tasks that would otherwise bring you out, I would be willing to undertake them for you. Obviously I can't get to everyone, but I'd like to help if I can, as much as possible.

The good news is that if I'm reading the signs right, there seems to be a storm brewing for later today. Hopefully it will be enough to blow all of this accursed fog away, so we can all breathe safely once more.

These fogs can crop up from time to time, so be on the lookout for them in the future.

You might be one of the only ones. As I said it effects different people differently...and some might stand immune. Still, it's dangerous, especially if you meet paths with someone else who's having a worse reaction. I wouldn't stay out there long.

Perhaps where you're from. Not so much in my experience, though. [Then again, 'grown-up' is pretty subjective. A lot of children were considered adults where Mulan comes from, when war or danger threatened.]

The most common experiences seem to be hallucinations, or alterations in mood. But really, it's all over the map. Some people are never effected at all. But I think it's much better to be safe than sorry.

You sound like you've been here a while, though. Does this fog come through often?

I guess I'll just add that to the list of reasons why this planet shouldn't be allowed to exist. [It's nothing personal, he's just always grumpy. And planet destruction is really just a semi-empty threat/statement/him just blowing off some steam.]

Besides, why are you so willing to brave the environment when it's so 'dangerous' anyhow? Got a secret you'd like to share with the class?

Yesterday she sent a general wave about Kozmotis being missing. When I replied, she said that she'd been out in the fog for a few hours looking for him. Then she was . . . hallucinating that her friends were with her - she heard one of them at the door and she left. She has a large dog with her, I'm not certain whether or not he'll be affected.

Sometime after midnight, she had her communicator back and seemed to think a group of people were with her, but it was just the dog.

[It probably goes without saying that Bones would be at the hospital with the fog rolled in, but the video link confirms it with the backdrop of bright clean walls behind him.]

The locals are generally smart enough to look to themselves, but if you run into anyone from the Ship that's gone and done something stupid, bring them here. I can't flush the stuff, but I can at least keep them safe until they're back in their own head again.
