Raise the Alarm (Friday, Week 45, mid-afternoon)
[For those on the ship, the afternoon's calm is broken by the sudden wail of alarms, and the blooming glow of amber warning lights set in the ship's floor panels.
For those off the ship, the light display is absent, but the alarms still wail from the ship-linked communicators.
The ungodly racket is accompanied by a dispassionate feminine voice - those few who saw her before the crash might recognize the voice of Salvation's AI, though the message itself is recorded.]
Hostiles detected in corridor 83-alpha. Containment initiated. Dispatching security.

And after a minute she figures out that nobody can hear her so she swaps over to text. And if text could look sheepish, this definitely would.]
So uh oops? The alarms are sorta my fault. Well, this guy Vegeta and mine. Can someone shut the kriffing things off and let us out?

This guy punched through a couple of doors.
[Text]
[There's a brief pause before another text comes in.]
Scratch that. Just switch to video and pan the camera to show in as much of the area you're stuck in as possible.
[Text--Video]
K
[She turns on the video and sweeps it slowly around the area. She'll pause on the door if there are any markings. If not, well...]

[He's on the ship, too, and he's yelling, because those alarms are everywhere, after all. If not quite as loud where he's at compared to Kerra.
He's also crawling along a wall, and paused to answer her text while still clinging to it. Her view of him may be a little weird, since she'll be seeing the wall as the floor and floor as a wall.]
[Text because Kerra is not]
Corridor 83-Alpha. Or...something. Y'know, where all the alarms are loudest.
Well, duh. The ship's yellin' that pretty loud! But I don't got any idea where that is.
[Maybe he should just do like Tony said and get out of there.]
[text still.]
Switch to text, it's hard to make out what the frak you're saying.

Shepard's too far out to be any real use--she's out past the port town by now--but that doesn't stop her from asking: ] Someone coming for you?
[ and another message, this one sent to one Kaidan Alenko ]
The hell's going on up there?

Dunno yet. Hope so.

The difference is, this one would put a few holes in the ship herself, if it meant busting someone the hell out of it. Which is why she asked. ]
Let me know. I might be too far out, but I'll give it a shot.

From what I can grab from network traffic, some idiot punched his way through a couple of the bulkhead doors.
I'm onboard and en route but the ship's huge.

[ And that's all she'll pester him with there unless he has more to tell her. ]

[Have the idiot responsible for the whole expedition of trying to punch his way through the ship. He's barely audible and he can scream really, really loud.]
[Audio]
[Kaidan doesn't often curse, but every now and again some of the sounds of his mother's Singaporean raising are just what the situation needs. He cuts off midway through one and sighs, apparently having done something to isolate and boost his voice over the background wailing.]
I'm trying to get to where you are to see what I can do, but it'd help if you'd explain what you were trying to do.
[Audio]
Don't look at me, one moment we are simply proceeding through the barred areas of the ship, and then all of a sudden it decides it doesn't like that after all and locks us in this room! I can't even blast my way out!
[SHIP SECURITY SUCKS.]
[Audio --> Video]
[And then, because he's not sure if that transmitted, Kaidan flips to a video broadcast in the hopes that body language will carry what the klaxon's stealing from his words. Have one harried looking military figure, Vegeta.]
Simply proceeding? How did you get into the barred areas to start with? And-- Blast? You're trying to blast holes in the spaceship that is our only way home? Are you insane?
