013 ⌥ VIDEO. after akito's post.
[ Shepard's been off in the woods (hunting, if you need to know--she was getting stir-crazy) and her Omni-Tool's been acting up (maybe from all of the fiddling with her collar? who knows), so when she finally tunes back in and is met with all kinds of blood and distress, she is Not Pleased. ]
Christ, I'm gone for two goddamn seconds and-... [ Now that she's sure it's transmitting, she's addressing the populace. ]
The hell's going on out there? Is anyone still engaged in combat?
[ Because if so, she's en route. Hell, she might be en route anyway. ]

Audio:
Both the damned things are down, but we've got casualties up to the eyeballs, and not a thing I can do but try and make them comfortable.
Cleanup's going to be a bitch. If you get yourself involved in that, don't touch any of the fragments or spines bare-handed or you'll end up just like the rest of the suffering bastards. The Authorities are locking it down, but if you play nice they might decide to let you risk your neck instead of theirs.
Audio now too. and he doesn't have to tell her about kaidan, if you don't want.
And then there's mention of the Authorities and them 'letting her' do this and that and that's just plain not how it works.
So back to those casualties. ]
Any familiar faces?
[ Her tone's carefully short of grim now. ]

Still on my way to the hospital now. Anyone you want me to look for? Solus and I are as much experts on this as anyone, god help us, so I have a feeling nobody's going to argue if I want to look over patients.

[Because there's no time like a pressing crisis to critique nicknames. There's the sound of hurried feet and indistinct shouts in the background of Bones' mic pickup.]
I'll look into the casualty lists when I get to the hospital. Make sure you don't go adding to them, I wouldn't want to miss my chance at getting that thing out of your neck.

[ Your argument is invalid. Also, cut the bullshit--that was the last joke Shepard's in any mood to make until her people are accounted for. ]
It'll take something a hell of a lot bigger to take me down. [ Even though she actually has very limited knowledge of what it even is. ] I appreciate the help, though.

Don't get cocky, you remind me of my captain when you do that. But I'll look into what I can find for you. Try to stay alive to hear it.
[With that, he signs off. There's triage to tend to and the dying to tally.]

Video, I am a terrible person
[He has a lot of calcifying people. He has no time for tact. In theory he knows what tact is.]
