[Video] | Friday afternoon, Week 50
[Thor's back to bother everybody on the network! Or rather, a video one of his remote cameras is back to bother everybody, with Thor's voice in the background.]
I believe I have set this up correctly....
[The video is showing a forest, near the edge of the dead zone, if anyone recognizes that.]
Ah. I have seen something on this video feed. But it cannot make it go forward, now, to the correct time. And now I believe it is stuck, I cannot find the command to take this video off of the communicator. Many apologies, everyone. I will simply have to describe it from memory.
[Still playing forest. Yup.]
I have these cameras from Tony Stark, around the area where everything dies. It recorded something this morning, of one more of those bone demons squabbling with something I could not make out. They were smaller than the ones we fought. But then something... pulsed. And it killed the camera, and, I believe, the bone creatures. I went to investigate, but could find no trace.
What could do such a thing?
--aha, I found it!
[And the whole feed stops, instead of just the peaceful forest scene. Thor can manage some technology all right, but sometimes he's just a doofus with it. Sorry network peeps.]

D'you think anything that kills the bone creatures is a good thing, or will it be something that's even worse for us?
[And he's usually so optimistic.]
[He smiles, though there isn't much humor in it.]
They do not respond well to slicing or to energy or elemental weapons, but blunt force seems to do quite well against them.
[Guess what Thor happens to be best at? C'mon, guess.]
Hugs.
Followed closely by hammering at things.]
Guess if they come back 'round I'll have to hide behind you.
[She's trying t sound joking, but her voice is too flat. She's worried.]
[He sounds a bit bleak, there. His brother is back, which is a relief, but he knows perfectly well it could always happen again.]
[And that may sound corny or glib in the mouth of anyone else, but Thor sounds serious, sober, and very much like he believes every word.]
[Though it does still leave him puzzled as to just what to do.]
Perhaps I should look more intently for these bone demons, once I replace the broken camera.
[He puts his fist to his chest and half-bows over it with a little smile, sealing the "vow".]
[She frowns a little in concern and finally nods.]
Okay. Keep in touch.
Well, you did manage to stop the forest tape, and everything else along with it. What do you mean by a pulse, Thor? Some kind of weapon?
Have you shown Stark?
[He looks a bit sheepish, though only briefly, as he returns in response to the other people replying to him.]
A pulse. Like a surge of energy, from a small energy explosion? But Stark has seen it, yes. We flew out together to collect the damaged camera and inspect the damage.
[And were waylaid halfway there, but still. They did go out together.]
He is the one who gave me the cameras, to begin with.
Is it possible it was someone from the ship? Stark has some kind of pulse weapon, doesn't he? Those things in his suit. Maybe someone else from the pods had a similar device?
[However, he is reminded of something:]
May we share words, you and I? In person, and soon?
[Before Steve runs into the newly reincarnated Loki and upsets him all over again. Or makes his current upset worse, either or.]

[Beat.]
Or somewhen.
[Because they have to say that, these days.]
Something has to be creating them, and it will not stop until we stop it. Nothing comes from nothing.

But I agree: these creatures need to be stopped, before they do more damage if at all possible. Know that if you plan on going after them at any point, you have my aid.
no subject
[He looks thoughtful.]
They have been seen, yes, but it was in the far future, when the world, nay, the entire reality coil was coming to an end. I would have shared with you had I known they were in this time, as well. You have my apologies for that.
no subject
I wonder what it might mean for us though, that things around near this world's ending are apparently starting to appear now?
no subject
[He looks worried, about that, and possibly guilty, too. Not that it could've really been him... since he was in the future, and had no ability to affect the past and the timeline.]
no subject
But even if it were so, what could we do now? That would make any difference.
Maybe we're better off just worrying about things we probably can change. Like taking care of these creatures.
no subject
Aye, you speak the truth. Then that I shall do. I shall seek out these creatures, to the best of my ability. We did damage at least one of them very badly, while it was here. Perhaps it shall not be so difficult to destroy, if I find it again.
