In response to Dr. Solus' inquiry yesterday, I would like to name all three of you as my stand-ins regarding my medical treatment and physical belongings were I to fall and be unable to administer to my own affairs myself, and hereby empower you to make any necessary decisions on my behalf.

[Her voice and manner are incredibly formal as she makes this collective statement. She still might not fully understand what exactly this is all about, but she definitely gets that it's something to be taken seriously.]

I don't have any specific requests to make of you. Hopefully this will never be necessary anyway. But on the chance that it is, I thought it best it'd be fully established ahead of time.

I trust all of you to use your best judgement should you be called upon to act in my stead. If there are any other questions you have for me in this matter, please ask.

[Thor is here, and looking a bit surprised and a bit puzzled. He isn't really sure about what this medical power of attorney means, either, but hey, he'll gladly shoulder responsibility when it's asked of him.]

Well, certainly, if you wish it, Mulan. I will also hope that it not becomes necessary.

[Reading that look on his face she gives him a faint smile.]

It doesn't make a lot of sense to me, either, Thor. But it certainly seems to be something important. And the more I think about it, the more I realize that I do not actually want a potential random stranger to be responsible for taking care of me, should I somehow need it.

[Thor nods his understanding.]

Very well. I shall endeavor to look out for your best interests to the best of my ability. Along with the others you have included here.

[Beat. Momentary look of confusion.]

[Given this is a private thread, mun assumes he can't see Belle's answers, and Loki hasn't replied yet (if he's even going to).]

My friend Belle. Actually, she's the name I gave as the person who should be consulted very first...no offense, only she's from the same world as I and our relationship is much longer.

And also named is...your brother.

[Silence. Yeah after what happened at their house the other day that's kind of awkward. And yet she still picked Loki.]

[Thor nods, taking no offense, though he does hesitate at the second person, looking a bit surprised and a bit concerned.]

Ah. Well. I shall endeavor to be ready in his stead, in the case of our services being required, but I trust he will not treat you with dishonor should the need arise, either.

I hope not. [She inhales.] I really do think your brother has goodness in his heart and can grow to be very wise, so long as he does not fall victim to his fatalism and uncertainty.

I know he considers my assurances meddling and my attempts to encourage him towards change unwanted, however. Since there's a chance he may not even look at this message, let alone respond to it, I hope you'll do me the favor of at least making sure he hears the gist of it.

I believe with time you two can understand each other. Your heart is in the right place, as is his.

[Thor is ever the optimist, especially with friends and family, and she has no idea how much he appreciates that she believes in Loki, too.]

But I will make certain he is aware and knows what to do, should the need arise.

[And a bit terrified at the thought of having to take care of anyone else's medical affairs - though she can, at least, be sure she'll be a little better about it than the people of Storybrooke had been with her, if it comes to that.]

I don't have any plans to do anything particularly risky today, nor any other days coming up soon, if that's what you're worried about.

I'll...be honest; the reason I gave this right to a few others besides you was that so far you seem to have something of a bad habit of dying and disappearing, Belle. Not that I blame you. It's just...these things do seem to happen.

It predates this place, I'm afraid.

...The disappearing part, not the dying. I've never done that before, and I don't relish the thought of repeating the experience.

Would anyone? I can't even begin to imagine.

Given all the strange people we've met? I'm certain someone, somewhere would.
