If you aren't too busy or sleeping already, I would like to meet you at the ship tonight. I appear to have my full faculties inside the ship, but I don't want to be alone in case it wears off at any place or time in here.

Luke, Mulan, Tony, Indrani, Kerra, Shepard, and Sandman (though he's not sure he has Sandman's sent properly, given he's never spoken with him before):

Good evening. I'm back. Did any of us make it out alive, or should I be looking about here in the ship for the rest of us? Do we know what exactly happened in there? Is that thing destroyed?

[He's noticed the countdown is gone, but isn't sure whether he ought to connect it to their expedition or not.]

[After fighting alongside him in there, at least, now Lyall can indeed see him. He offers the little man a little smile.]

I'm glad to hear it. So it's gone, then? All of them are gone?

[Lyall waves, back, with a slightly bigger smile. Sandman is... kind of sweet-looking, really. He hadn't had the chance to think beyond "little golden man", in that mountain. Still, his voice is grim when he replies:]

Good. Those things were terrible. And I'm hearing from a few others, it looks like, so... even if we didn't all make it out, it appears we are at least coming back.

[Oh, wonderful! New friend. Sandy forgoes texting for the time being, since he's more comfortable with his usual mode of communication. He wiped his forehead in a pantomime of relief. Good.]

[He conjures a simplified sculpture of Salvation, then a question mark. They were coming back from the ship?]

[Lyall is puzzled for a moment-- he's never played any kind of picture game-- but he works it out after a moment-- he is, after all, also a werewolf and thus often trapped without verbal means of communication.]

Yes, from the ship. You're fairly new, aren't you? When we, er, die, we regenerate back here in our pods. Then we can come back out of them, afterwards, after a period of several days. It's a tad disconcerting, to be honest.

Sandman and I were the only ones, barely. I thought about going back in the next day with a team to find all of you but that proved unnecessary when you found us first. We knew the calcium spreads and kills but I think we can confirm now that it also reanimates. It was pretty terrifying.

Sorry I had to kill a couple of you but I don't think it was really you anyway.

Still don't know if the web creature is destroyed, though from what I saw after we made a run for it, I'm pretty sure it is. Kaylee hasn't let me go back since that night to make sure.

Exactly that. Everyone who was injured by one of the creatures was reanimated as one of them. I think the web creature was doing that to animals that wandered into its cave.

Though it does fit what we saw, in there. I... hope my own body did not actually create any difficulty. How many of us have come by the city...?

I'm still on the main deck, where the pods and the exits are. I'd still feel better with someone else about, no matter your surety about this place. I very nearly went rampaging down the mountainside when I got to the path out, since I couldn't feel the moon in here until I'd stepped outside.

I'd suggest putting a calendar up by your pod, but I'd just as soon you didn't end up in there again, if it's all the same to you.

And yeah, if that thing's alive then I think it'll take more than all of us combined to kill it. I took down the entire mountain.

I'm still on the ship, if you'd like some company. Or clothing, if you happened to be lacking some.

[Victorians do like their many layers, after all. He's sure he could spare something, even if that would leave both of them a bit indecent still.]

The hallway leading out of the ship, at the moment. Which of the pod chambers are you in? I'll come look for you.

[Mulan doesn't come back until Wednesday, and she takes a short time to get her bearings. But seeing as this may actually be important she answers anyway as soon as she feels up to it.]

It seems I took a little longer to come back than some of you. But if it is still relevant, then yes...I am alive. Again. Now.

Oh good, I was growing a tad concerned that perhaps you weren't coming back out, this time.

[There's even some relief in his voice, when he gets the message.]

Thank you for letting me know, Miss Mulan. Are you well? Are you in need of clothing?

I have too many friends that have lost other people lately. I'd rather not do that to them.

[She says, like she has any control over it.]

I'm well. And...yes, actually. Clothes would be nice.

I am starting to believe we should leave clothing there, just enough to get a fellow home.

[Lyall checks the time, huffs a bit, and says,]

I have time to get up there before work. Just barely. If no one else is coming by, I'll leave now.

At this rate that might actually be something to look into.
