[Shepard doesn't really use the network much. She doesn't have much against it in theory, she just isn't a huge fan of digital networking in general. She was always terrible at responding to emails back home, too.

Now, though, she's got some purpose for making a post, at least.]

So, I'm going to need some help tracking down my walking corpse. Generally I'm not crazy about risking unnecessary lives, and these things have proven dangerous, but the damn thing has my armor and one of my guns. I need them back.

Ideally anyone who comes with me to hunt it down should have full body armor of their own, because getting nicked isn't an option.

Let me know who is up for this, I'm looking to get underway asap.

[Garrus's mandibles clip tight against his jaw, and the pause before he answers isn't overly long, but it's still noticeable.]

Humans. You'd think a little gunshot wound was the end of the world, the way you carry on.

Between the rocket to the face and the returning from the grave, I know when I'm beaten. You win, both of you. 'Beaten up by a killer robot' really doesn't stack.

[Kaidan raises his hands, conceding mock-defeat.]

But I'll look into weapons. I'm actually planning to see if the Authorities have any clean-up and containment tips we could adapt.

[And maybe, with renewed practice, the familiar banter will stop feeling strained - at least, from his end.]

If they don't have anything, we might still be able to evac the area if we can pin the thing down. They can't be too happy about the thought of whatever this is spreading.

Not happy would be an understatement... especially since the only treatment for people exposed is quarantine and, if they can swing it, a more merciful death than the bone shards will give you.

[Kaidan's expression is hard to read, reflecting on his own half-remembered mortality as it is.]
