[After another extensive but early night of skulking around bars, Wes has heard enough to bring it up to the rest of the ship people. And he doesn't look terribly happy with what he's heard.]

So, who else has been listening to the talk about these arrests? A lot of the local chatter... doesn't sound very good. If these arrests aren't on the up and up, the situations only going to get a lot worse.

[If they are arresting people for being against outside involvement it's likely to have the exact opposite effect of what they're going for.]

Moving through bars. You hear a lot, there. Tricky sorting the nonsense out, but people are less guarded.

And drunk. And the sort of people who sit around complaining about local law enforcement in bars.

[There may be no video, but the shrug is almost audible in Garrus's flanged drawl as he continues.]

Maybe there's something going on, but personally, I'd look for corroboration somewhere a little more reliable before assuming.

It's a starting point. Shifting through to the truth in all the drunk talk. Next step is corroboration, of course.
