[After another extensive but early night of skulking around bars, Wes has heard enough to bring it up to the rest of the ship people. And he doesn't look terribly happy with what he's heard.]

So, who else has been listening to the talk about these arrests? A lot of the local chatter... doesn't sound very good. If these arrests aren't on the up and up, the situations only going to get a lot worse.

[If they are arresting people for being against outside involvement it's likely to have the exact opposite effect of what they're going for.]

I mean, I know I've been out of the loop this past week or two because I've been stuck at home, but I usually at least hear updates.

What makes them alleged? Even if they're just suspects, they'll be questioned and tried like anybody. Why is that a bad thing?

Everything we'd seen about the cops has been on the up and up. Until now, anyway. The murders have... complicated things.

Let's put it this way: I enjoy a good drink, but the amount of time I've been bar hopping is ridiculous. People are talking more loudly than they probably mean to.
