[After another extensive but early night of skulking around bars, Wes has heard enough to bring it up to the rest of the ship people. And he doesn't look terribly happy with what he's heard.]

So, who else has been listening to the talk about these arrests? A lot of the local chatter... doesn't sound very good. If these arrests aren't on the up and up, the situations only going to get a lot worse.

[If they are arresting people for being against outside involvement it's likely to have the exact opposite effect of what they're going for.]

[A slightly longer pause. It appears that Luke is finally understanding.]

They're arresting people... for talking?

[He's a bit in shock. Not necessarily from the political turn things have taken, that was almost expected, but at the betrayal he's feeling.]

I-- I knew Sybil's always sympathized with Bellona but I didn't think she'd do anything like this.

Can't even be sure it's Sybil's doing. Wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't, if they really are going for the people who have spoken out against Bellona.

You're right. I can't assume it's her just yet. I have to get to the bottom of this.

Been listening to the local chatter. Some of it's probably just drunk talk, but when the tone of the conversation leans so far in one direction... I would have expected a lot more "bastards had it coming" if there wasn't something fishy going on.
