[Claire has been missing for a while now, and she's completely disoriented about waking up in the spaceship...

Again.

The pod opens and the petite blonde crawls out, first confused, and then hit with a wave of unmanageable terror. How long had she been in there? Had she skipped hundreds or thousands of years again? Is everyone already long dead and gone?

Hyperventilating and scrambling to the exit, Claire steps out into the rain. If no one is at the ship, she'll be sprinting down to the town to find someone she recognizes. Anyone. Anyone at all.]

[Claire still looks reasonably startled, but the stubbornness in her is keeping it as hidden as possible. She has the look on her face like one does when they are being brave because they have to be.]

Okay.. [She takes a shallow, sharp breath.] How long have I been gone?

[She's still not exactly.. Okay with what happened with her being back in that pod for a month. But she's dealing. Pretty well, considering.]

Somebody moved you back into the ship.

Rather useless gesture, when the ship's power is already draining.

[She visibly stiffens.] But that doesn't make any sense. Who would do that? Why?

Keep you out of the way? Keep you out of the hands of the Authorities?

Who else knows?

[Her jaw clenches and she leans back, considering. Looking away at the wall as she thinks. Obviously she's angry there for a second.]

Figures. [She says under her breath, then focuses back on Sherlock.] A guy named Fox? He saw me heal, but I think he thought he was hallucinating or something. Daniel. But he's- He wouldn't. [She's not so sure he wouldn't. She's just trying to convince herself. Because he might. He did have that stupid protective streak about him. Claire is tired of being put out of the way and overprotected.] That's all.

Most likely Daniel. [Sherlock's blasé about this. The question of 'who' doesn't bother him overmuch.]

At least you were protected from the fog.

[She cares because she feels betrayed. The 'who' matters because she needs to know who to trust.]

I heard about that. Did it affect you?

What did it do?

Chemical weapon, designed to cause confusion. Stray cloud, probably left over from previous battles. We thought it might have been a precursor to another attack from the Authorities.

..Oh. That sounds bad.

I don't know if I would have been affected, so maybe I wasn't spared from anything at all.

Bad yes, but not as bad as it could have been.
