Though he's seen text and video, telephones are most familiar, and in a situation where adaptation is clearly necessary, his instincts take over. The devastation is obvious, and there were undoubtedly others with a more immediate need than he.]

This is Captain Steve Rogers of the United States Army. I've just arrived to this place, but I've been here long enough to collect what supplies I could from the ship. [At least, that's what it looked like.] If I'm reaching someone who knows how I can best help with reconstruction, let me know. If that's not possible, please direct me to someone who would know further details.

There are a lot of people and animals who are hurt, and buildings that need to be fixed.

The damage appears to be the worst in the western and southern sections of the city. In addition to people who have been trapped or injured in the rubble, there appear to be several packs of scavengers to contend with. They are unlikely to attack if you are uninjured and armed, but they may see any wounded as prey.

[There is a brief pause in her recitation.]

I would advise staying clear of the north-eastern border of the city. The patrols there are fairly aggressive.
