[He wakes in the pod confused and disoriented. He fell asleep in his cabin on the Andromeda, and the next thing he knows he's in a dark, alien ship. It isn't the first time he's been kidnapped, but the complete lack of guards is perplexing, as is the fact that he still has his weapon. He quickly finds the exit and explores around the ship. There's clear signs of a recent fight. That doesn't bode well, but he can't wander out here alone forever. He decides to try to make contact with whoever brought him to this place.]

I’m Captain Dylan Hunt of the Commonwealth System starship Andromeda Ascendant. Whoever's in charge here, I mean you no harm. I’d just like to talk, find out where I am and how I got here. [And, if he's lucky, how to get back to where he came from. He has a crew to protect and a Commonwealth to re-found.]

Good. I'm heading to the nearby settlement. Maybe the three of us, and any other military or former military personnel should put our heads together and get organized.

Speaking of shooting, though--tell me they at least dragged you in armed. [Because the more people have their own guns, the less people eye hers.]

I'm armed. The charge is limited unless I can find a compatible energy source here, but if I'm careful it should last long enough for me to either find a way to charge it or find something else.
