[video] THURSDAY EVENING
[ Jim manages to look none the worse for wear, though if you knew him well, you'd be able to tell he's tired. That smile is totally fake - like, faker than usual - and his laid back attitude has some strain underneath the surface. ]
You know, it would be just my luck to volunteer to lead an expedition on a backwater planet with dinosaurs running around. And poisonous snakes, too. We gotta get like a bestiary going or something. Christ.
Well, anyway, looks like we're all back in one piece, though some of us required bandages and whatnot to get here.
Mission accomplished, right? And no casualties, which I think we can count as the most important parts.
Miss...Potts, right? You want a report, I got it.

I met Dr. McCoy more recently, at the hospital. He's been rather busy, considering how many people are getting sick, so I haven't had the chance to talk to him much aside from offering my assistance.

Well, Bones - uh, Dr. McCoy - can be kinda hard to take but he's a great guy and a great doctor. Hope he's got some help at the hospital though.
Are you a medical doctor, or?

And I'm actually more the nuclear physics kind of doctor, with a side of biochemistry. I have some field experience as a physician, though. Not anything on his level, but enough to be useful.
