Unfortunately, I'm unable to assist at the hospital or with any projects on the ship until further notice. I'd like to discourage anyone from visiting my house, as well. I've been showing symptoms of the disease spread by the bandits. But I'm not staying at the hospital, as they need the room for those in worse condition.

In less horrible news, we've successfully predicted the opening of a pod. But our prediction rate is not 100% accurate. Two pods opened simultaneously, and we were only able to predict one.

I hope you're all well, at least. If you are, Dr. McCoy insists that someone checks up on me, or directs him to my house if they can't. [He's not super-happy about this part. Or any of it, really.]

[And he sure will, because Lyall is dependable like that, bringing a few thick books that seemed potentially useful and a week's worth of rations from supply. He'll look a bit haggard, though, when he does.]

Apparently, they have a currently unidentified bacterial infection with their dinosaurs that's already killed a few people and is spreading, though we're not entirely sure how yet.

Which doesn't actually answer my question, which is how badly off are you?

You didn't specify that in your question.

But I'm not as badly off as some people are, which is why Dr. McCoy is allowing me to stay at home. Until it gets worse, anyway.

I didn't know you could actually get sick. What do you need? I can bring a few things by.

I've had a fair amount of practice in the art of question dodging, considering.

I didn't know I could get sick either, to be honest. Professor Lyall has already offered to bring food and books, since he's immune. I don't want you to catch it if you aren't.

Somehow I doubt you'll listen if I tell you not to worry. [And the fact that Steve is worried for him is weird to think about.]

[The currently well-dressed werewolf comes by as promised, then, and raps lightly on the door with the afore-mentioned items. Already, he's sniffing the air for the scent of sickness. By now, he's identified the scent of it, at least, even if he can't catch it.]

I'm glad to hear we accurately predicted something, at any rate. I'll keep working and see if I can't analyse some more data to try and refine the calculations a bit more.

[Bruce looks as terrible as he feels; the fever is slowly getting worse. He only has the clothes he's wearing and a thin blanket for warmth, which is wrapped around his shoulders. He answers the door with a faint smile, though.]
