Unfortunately, I'm unable to assist at the hospital or with any projects on the ship until further notice. I'd like to discourage anyone from visiting my house, as well. I've been showing symptoms of the disease spread by the bandits. But I'm not staying at the hospital, as they need the room for those in worse condition.

In less horrible news, we've successfully predicted the opening of a pod. But our prediction rate is not 100% accurate. Two pods opened simultaneously, and we were only able to predict one.

I hope you're all well, at least. If you are, Dr. McCoy insists that someone checks up on me, or directs him to my house if they can't. [He's not super-happy about this part. Or any of it, really.]

[Since text on the tiny aethographer generally takes too long, and Lyall is a busy werewolf these days, he replies again by voice.]

I will see what I can find and come by tomorrow evening, perhaps? Or is the need a bit more pressing than that?

[Bruce doesn't care; text is just nice for hiding the coughing fits.]

Tomorrow evening is fine.

I will be by then with some books from the Vault, if Nem will let me borrow them.

[And he sure will, because Lyall is dependable like that, bringing a few thick books that seemed potentially useful and a week's worth of rations from supply. He'll look a bit haggard, though, when he does.]

[The currently well-dressed werewolf comes by as promised, then, and raps lightly on the door with the afore-mentioned items. Already, he's sniffing the air for the scent of sickness. By now, he's identified the scent of it, at least, even if he can't catch it.]

[action indeed!]

[Bruce looks as terrible as he feels; the fever is slowly getting worse. He only has the clothes he's wearing and a thin blanket for warmth, which is wrapped around his shoulders. He answers the door with a faint smile, though.]

Come in, Professor. It's good to see you.

[professorwolf]

[The werewolf frowns at the man's appearance, and does indeed catch that tell-tale scent as he does as bid and steps inside. At least he comes bringing gifts that may or may not help with that... he's thinking perhaps he ought to have brought another blanket, actually.]

Good evening, Doctor Banner. How are you feeling?

[tiptoeing]

I've been worse. [Which is sadly true, but also not much of an answer.]

Still feeling well yourself? [he gestures for him to take a seat by the table]

[professorwolf]

Perfectly well, thank you.

[Worse, hmm? Lyall is curious, but he confines that to a brief glance before setting the basket he was carrying down on the tabletop first.]

There should be bread, cheese, sliced meats, and some canned fruit slices here, plus several shepherd's pies. And probably more importantly, the three books I managed to talk Nem into allowing me to borrow. It ought to hold you for a day or two.
