[ For anyone who happens to believe in old Greek spirits - specifically the ones called Anemoi - they might catch a glimpse of a bright, golden eye peering out of a painfully androgynous face and down at the recording device. Their skin is pale, and their hair a dark, midnight blue. They look small - almost fae-like - and are dressed in bright yellow, and black.

For anyone who doesn't happen to believe in obscure Greek gods, they will just see some nice scenery. Or as nice as a forest with a backdrop of a crashed alien ship can be, at least. ]


I've never gotten to use one of these before..! I wonder if anyone can hear me?


[ he fiddles with the settings, clearly entertained by this, until he manages to change it to text format. ]

[ he doesn't actually expect a reply, so he only half pays attention to the device as he starts exploring. he keeps the device recording as he flies, giving any viewers some interesting, dizzying views of forests and mountains. ]

Why not? You're obviously talking to them, so they'll eventually have to believe the wind is a sentient being.

What if I don't want to be believed in? Nothing good ever comes from other things seeing me.

No, humans have never seen me.

I mean things like other spirits, too. Like... Like dryads and naiads.

[ he pauses, glancing nervously at a nearby tree before flying a few extra metres away from it for good measure. ]

There aren't any of those here, are there?

What do other spirits have to do with you not wanting to be believed in? Other spirits can see you, no matter how petty they like to act.

[He shakes his head.]

Kids are who you wanna befriend. They're cool and fun. And you actually gotta try or they're never believe in you.

How do I make friends with kids? I don't even know how to make friends with spirits.

[ he fidgets with one of the charms on his purse, made from iridescent tooth fairy feathers. he gives a small, fond smile. ]

...Spirits aside from Miss Toothiana's helpers, at least.

Playing with them is a good start. But you gotta make them know you exist first. Otherwise, you're just the wind to them.

[He sighs.]

That's all I really know though. Took me 300 years to even get one kid to believe in me. So I'm not that much help. Use the phone though. Texting and talking to others seems to help.

Texting is okay, I think... I'm not so good at the- the talking part, but texting will be good practice, ne? Then if people start believing in me too, maybe by that time I'll be good at it.
