[ Sigyn is only sending this message to those who she's labeled in her RECEIVER subject line. The names are JACK FROST, PRINCE THOR, PEPPER POTTS, FA MULAN, KERRA HOLT, and finally CLINT BARTON. All else will be unable to see her message.

And her message is: ]

My greetings of the lightest days. [ The camera is leaning up against something hard, as it gives a good view of Sigyn as she sits inside her new house, with a large amount of hay in her lap. She also has a large roll of cloth that stretches off camera and is black. She seems to be stitching up the side, leaving a large opening at the top. ] For all those concerned for my location, I have vacated my room within the Flop and have made my home inside a lovely house in the mountains, by the river. [ She continues to stitch, pulling more of the cloth into her lap as she makes her way down with her stitches. ] I ask of you to not visit with me 'till Moon's Day morn. My apologies for leaving so abruptly, but I do not feel safe as a sorceress within the city.

You don't feel safe because of a sorceress?

[ Sigyn doesn't lock her already private communication circle to just Kerra. She trusts these people. They can listen if they want. ]

I do not feel safe because I am a sorceress. As well as powerful and unstable, as Kaidan told me. I am not trusted, and I am to be watched, and I am, [ Her voice chokes and she stops her stitch, a lump in her throat. No tears. No tears for Kaidan and the rest of the ignorant mass. ] and I think he would chain me if possible.

[ She grips the cloth tight. ] Is that what he had said? I am unsure, but to mine own ears, he said such and I do not feel safe laying down my head so close to a person such as Kaidan. What if he is like Tony Stark? What if he attempts to place those awful metal collars about my neck and seal my magic? I cannot live without my magic. I will die without my magic. [ She's practically babbling now, worked up. ]

Look. I dunno who this guy is. But if he tries to chain you I'll hang him out to dry. Period.

[She sighs and...resists the urge to facepalm]

If you think moving out is better, then do it. But if some halfwit tries to collar you, he'll answer to me first. I'm a Jedi, and we don't let people take away other people's freedom unless they're going around killing people. Which you are not.

Your concern is touching, My Friend. But I do not wish to see you injured by Kaidan. Horrible and prejudice he acts, but there is heart beneath that blackness. A good man but a foolish man.

[ She smiles, touched. And she sniffs, not realizing that a tear had strayed down her cheek. ]

My greatest, most adored thanks, My Friend. You are the first to call me such in all my living years.

I'm not terribly sure just how...bad a fighter you think I am, Sigyn, but it'll take more than a bit of work to really get me injured. But what do you mean prejudiced? What did he say to you exactly

[Kerra blinks. She...didn't call Sigyn her friend. Hell, she's not even sure she likes this...Vanguardir or whatever she is. But she's not about to let someone just chain up a free person, halfwit or not.]

Hey, don't get all emotional on me. I'm just doing what a Jedi's supposed to do.

You are a wonderful warrior, Lady Mercy, but I do not wish for Kaidan to implicate you in any trial. That he dislikes me, well and good, but I do not want you to catch any of my trouble. You may find him perfectly amiable compared to my experiences. [ In other words, what may not work for Sigyn, may very well work for Kerra. ]

Kaidan said that he had faced enemies to which he likened me. He said that he did not trust my open emotions and thought I were only fooling him. My sincerest apologies. I forget that open emotion is unheard of in different realms.

[She snorts, but nods. Sounds like just another mess.]

Don't apologize to me, just keep yourself safe. Living out in the wilds isn't always the safest decision.

I am sorry to hear you feel unhappy within the city, Lady Sigyn!

[He even has a frowny face for you.]

Are you well enough, out there, so far from the rest of the city? It seems that would be quite lonely.

[Thor is finding he is happy in the midst of the bustling, if primitive, city. And living with his brother. Even if there is guilt there. Yup.]

It is not so different than home, Your Highness. A solitary fortress far from the great, looming city. My only choice if I wish to avoid being arrested for being who I am.

No one is going to arrest you. You have broken no laws. Have you?

Nej, but I have been marked as suspicious by Kaidan, for my sorcery and my emotions.

[ ... and he can kind of understand that. She is a bit difficult to predict, and soldiers must like predictability. Thor considers a moment.]

That is not the same as danger, my lady. Those of you who are from the ship have no real authority over the locals, and so I do not imagine there will be any real trouble for you in the city.

Perhaps not speaking with Major Alenko might be more comfortable for you both, however.

It is not so, Your Highness. He expressed distrust in my person, and that he would not trust me around his companions, or anyone else for that matter. For my magics and my emotions. Have I returned to Asgardia? Am I at the mercy of Aesir?

[girlworthfighting]

So you have left the vicinity of the city entirely.

[That's her choice and Mulan's not going to argue it with her - not her place and frankly, not something she cares to be concerned with. Still she feels a bit flummoxed as this wasn't even an option she had considered viable: a distracted voice whispering Can she do that? in her head.

She does her best to put her best face forward.]

Was there any reason in particular you started feeling unsafe? Did something happen?

You have taken notice, no doubt, Warrior Mulan, of our fellow Ship Dweller's reactions to Prince Loki. While he is not his Other, he is a sorcerer with capabilities of the like. One day, when he completes his studies. Thus, fear lingers. Have you not heard of Warrior Stark's wishes to place an awful metal collar about Loki's neck and cut away his magic? The same might happen to me, as I have been judged as a potential threat by a fellow Ship Dweller.

[girlworthfighting]

[Sharp.] As to this threat to Loki, I have not. Who has said such things, and when were they offered? How likely is the chance he will carry through on them?

[fotlenke]

Warrior Stark. He said so not long after you and I adjourned our conference from my first announcement of Loki's arrival. Warrior Stark asked that I would place a collar about Loki's neck and I said 'nej' to which he expressed belief that I am ignorant and that I shall fail greatly for the folly.

[ She makes a whimpering sound, terrified. ] These collars are horrible, Warrior Mulan. Should Kaidan and Warrior Stark place the collars upon Loki and I, we shall lose our magic, and I am unable to live if I do not have my magic.

[girlworthfighting]

If that's so, I would hope to think others you speak of, if they are aware of that, would not be so cruel.

[fotlenke]

Good men. Strong hearts. But they are monsters when scared. When they do not understand. They break and destroy what they cannot control.
