[Koz can't do much with the storm going on so he's going to make some conversation with the people at large here.]

While I'm aware that english, or at least a variation on it, is the language most used here I'm curious what other ones people know or are more comfortable with at the very least. I'm familiar with quite a few so if there's one you'd prefer speaking in I'm more than willing to oblige.

A language barrier shouldn't be a reason for us to be unable to work together and if anyone wishes to learn a language I'm more than willing to teach.

I'm also wondering if anyone skilled with a sword could use a sparring partner, I seem to be short one.

What we are speaking is called English on your Planet? [She tilted her head.] That's... kind of odd. We just call it Common on Gaia. Unimaginative, I suppose, but it is a common tongue spoken by everyone but the Wutai, who speak Wutaian. I'm a little rusty with that language myself, but it's quite beautiful to listen to.

I'm skilled with a sword. Normally, I spar with other SOLDIER First Class as they're of the same skill and power level, but if you're of that level or more, I'd be more than happy to spar with you. [She's not about to underestimate someone just because they're from another Planet. Atticus was a testimony to that.]

Interesting, though I suppose it's not too surprising considering we look enough alike to be from a similar planet.

[Not that Earth is his native planet either.]

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with that division or rank, but I'm willing to at least try. There's no harm in getting knocked to the ground after all.

Ah, basically, when you join the ShinRa Company, you start out as a trooper and such. Sooner or later, you become eligible to join SOLDIER. Should you make it through the mako tests, which is a substance that augments one's abilities and human capabilities, you join as a Third Class. First Class, of course, is the highest. I am one of four in First Class.

If you can jump tall buildings or even strike through walls, then things should be fine?

I never had reason to jump buildings or take out walls, most of the fighting I've done has been in open areas or forests.

I am, however, not human.

Depends on why I am fighting. Sometimes, you can't avoid the cities.

Huh. It's amazing how many human looking non-humans there are. In any case, give me a time and place and I will meet you.

I suppose, though it likely depends on what your definition of human is.

I'm going to be generally free from the late afternoon on, weather permitting. There's only so much anyone can build in the rain.

In a genetic and technical sense no, but socially, ideologically and appearance wise I'm close enough that it's accurate enough. Mind you, it's a tad rude to judge someone based on their origins or appearance.

People are people and should be treated as such.

I'm staying in the woods between the two cities, along the coastline as opposed to in the mountains. It's removed enough for privacy but close enough that I can be easily reached.

As I said, you said it yourself what you were. I made no question about it other than an observation based on appearance.
