[Koz can't do much with the storm going on so he's going to make some conversation with the people at large here.]

While I'm aware that english, or at least a variation on it, is the language most used here I'm curious what other ones people know or are more comfortable with at the very least. I'm familiar with quite a few so if there's one you'd prefer speaking in I'm more than willing to oblige.

A language barrier shouldn't be a reason for us to be unable to work together and if anyone wishes to learn a language I'm more than willing to teach.

I'm also wondering if anyone skilled with a sword could use a sparring partner, I seem to be short one.

If you name a modern language from Earth I can probably speak it to some degree.
I also know how to read some older languages.

That depends on how you define modern and older, anything within the past 400 years is relatively modern for me.

Approximately years 2010-2095.
I can read some of the dead languages a little bit
Enough to verify the translations of older books.
I also know some domestic cat, dog, and songbird.
And a little bit of fox, but that is a tricky language.

You're a few hundred years ahead of me in time, not that it's particularly important.

I know every animal's language.

Out of all the spirits I've met here so far from my world I seem to be the furthest ahead.

They have their own lives and things to do, I don't see a reason to disturb them unless I see a reason to.

Like I said before, I don't have a reason to bother them so I don't.
If they want a conversation I'm sure they'll strike one up.

I don't know - there are some very old people here!

I really doubt they're over 40,000 years old.

I don't think harassing hungry predators is a good idea.
If you get bitten it's your own fault.

If Mother Nature was here she would definitely be older.

They're predators, they're generally always hungry.
It's not smart to bother them anyway, they're wild animals and can be dangerous.

She is guardian of earth's flora, fauna, and seasons.

All of my friends at home were wild animals.

I maintain the fauna, the seasons are taken care of by their respective spirits and the flora generally sort themselves out one way or another as the planet and others cultivate it.

You're not at home and these ones aren't used to you.
Spirit or not they're perfectly capable of hurting you.
If you piss them off I don't want to hear you whine about it because I warned you not to.

Mother Nature is at the top of the nature spirit hierarchy.
Then are the seasonal shepherds.
She is like our general.
We are her foot-soldiers for maintaining the balance.
At least that's what I think.

I don't whine about dumb things like little injuries.

There is no Mother Nature.
There is the Tsar, myself and the seasons.
