[Koz can't do much with the storm going on so he's going to make some conversation with the people at large here.]
While I'm aware that english, or at least a variation on it, is the language most used here I'm curious what other ones people know or are more comfortable with at the very least. I'm familiar with quite a few so if there's one you'd prefer speaking in I'm more than willing to oblige.
A language barrier shouldn't be a reason for us to be unable to work together and if anyone wishes to learn a language I'm more than willing to teach.
[There's a pause.]
I'm also wondering if anyone skilled with a sword could use a sparring partner, I seem to be short one.

[Canada isn't quite a thing yet for him, and neither is America.]
It's been a while since I've done much hand to hand, so I wouldn't mind doing either with you.

[Though he's going to avoid breaking things. He's used to wrestling things like bears and various spirits that get out of hand.]

[Goody. She's been needing to hit things.]

I'll try to remember not to bite then.
[Or claw your eyes out.]
I'll provide a meal for afterwards, is there anything you don't eat?

[Of course, she means that by the standards of cheap sandwich counters in 1940's Toronto, mostly. But she's pretty flexible.]
That's some hospitality you got goin' there. I might like you.

It's only proper to offer food to guests, I'd offer more but I haven't a house yet.

[Hi, last he was told it was the 18th Century or so.]

The universe is a lot bigger than most people care to think, you don't need an extra one to be very far from home.
Time travel however, is apparently a thing here.

At least with people meddling in it anyway.

[Pity, he likes Germany for the most part. Lots of forests.]
Science is mostly magic that's been explained in ways that the culture understands better, and it's... more how it's used that is good or bad than it's inherent nature.

I'm one of the not-bad guys though, for what it's worth.

These things take time, people need time to heal over societal wounds.
