[There is greenery behind Elissa - too much of it for her to be in any populated area. Logic dictates that she must be in one of the forests or at least a heavily forested area.]

I seek mages, witches, or any who can wield the power of magic to aid me in several quests. If you do not wish to reveal your abilities to the world at large, please send me a private message. I shall keep your confidence.

I have several herbs from my world. Tis my hope that someone skilled in plants might be able to find seeds upon them in order to grow them here.

I have several medicinal potions and poultices from my world that use the herbs for the main ingredient. I also seek someone who can replenish my supply, if the herbs can be grown.

Thirdly, I seek someone skilled in enchantments or runes or amulets who might be able to craft something to ward off mental attacks.

I have few valuables upon my person, but am quite willing to barter services for any who can aid me.

[Though her voice is reluctant, grudging even, Haruka puts a comment on here. After her chat with Chime, she's feeling a little more forgiving. A little.]

I think if someone can make something like that, they should make a lot of them. Just in case. It might be worth a lot to make sure none of us try to kill each other again.

... and the only magic I have is for blasting things. I do not know if that will help you any.

Someone with more coin than I shall have to ask for more, if tis possible. I do not know how much work might be needed to craft such a thing. If tis complicated, then it may be quite expensive.

[Elissa sounds wary as she speaks to Haruka.]

If I am able to procure such a thing, will it make you feel better about me? I have spoken to another so affected during that time who is certain we were under another's control.

Hai, it was just an idea. I never even thought something like that was possible. It would make me feel better. I talked to Chime, too, you know. Still does not make me trust you. Or him.

[She adds the last half out of rebellion.]

But the magic thing will help.

Chime and I trust each other even though he was one of my victims. I confess that an amulet would make me feel better as well. You may find it difficult to believe, but I do not exactly enjoy what happened and I do not wish for it to happen again.

[Haruka rolls her eyes on the other side of the screen. She really can't understand why people would be upset about this?]

Not liking what you did does not mean it cannot happen again. I will trust you when it does not. You can't make what you did go away overnight, Elissa-san.

[The Warden clenches her teeth in frustration.]

I. Understand. That. What I wish that you could understand is that it wasn't truly me that committed those acts! How can you blame me when it was another who caused me to do it?

That is what angers me so. Your lack of trust is perfectly understandable, but tis not as if I would normally do such things!

[kazeninaru]

If you understand why we do not trust you, then why are you so angry? I don't care if you would do those things. I just care that it does not happen again. Chime would not do those things, either, and I have known him a lot longer than I have known you.

That just does not mean it can't happen again. So stop being mad about it and start proving that it will not. Okay?

[Elissa tries to calm herself. She really does. A few deep breaths are taken to allow her a moment.]

I suppose that I am unused to being treated in such a way. It makes me angry that you seem to treat me the same way you would if it had truly been me in my right mind who did those things. Distrust is one thing - mocking is entirely another.

[kazeninaru]

[Haruka sounds surprised, at that.]

When have you been mocked? I think I may have been sarcastic a time or two, but that is not the same thing. I treat you as dangerous because you are, you could be. It isn't funny.

[djinnigenie]

No, tis not funny in the least. However, for someone who believes me to be as dangerous as you say, you treat me as a child.

[kazeninaru]

No, we are treating you as a potential threat. There is a difference.

[Annoyed, Haruka huffs out a breath, and suggests,]

If you feel you are being treated like a child, maybe it is because you are acting like one. Stop complaining that we do not understand you and do not trust you, and prove that we should. That is all we want. All right?

[djinnigenie]

And if I get this amulet of protection? Will that satisfy the lot of you?

[kazeninaru]

It will help a lot, hai, though I can't speak for the others.

[Haruka still can't promise she'll like the woman. But it'll go a long way towards at least proving that she isn't going to go killing people again.]

[djinnigenie]

Then that shall be my current quest. When it is obtained, I shall ask to speak to all of you again - face-to-face.
