I seek mages, witches, or any who can wield the power of magic to aid me in several quests. If you do not wish to reveal your abilities to the world at large, please send me a private message. I shall keep your confidence.

I have several herbs from my world. Tis my hope that someone skilled in plants might be able to find seeds upon them in order to grow them here.

I have several medicinal potions and poultices from my world that use the herbs for the main ingredient. I also seek someone who can replenish my supply, if the herbs can be grown.

Thirdly, I seek someone skilled in enchantments or runes or amulets who might be able to craft something to ward off mental attacks.

I have few valuables upon my person, but am quite willing to barter services for any who can aid me.

[Though her voice is reluctant, grudging even, Haruka puts a comment on here. After her chat with Chime, she's feeling a little more forgiving. A little.]

I think if someone can make something like that, they should make a lot of them. Just in case. It might be worth a lot to make sure none of us try to kill each other again.

... and the only magic I have is for blasting things. I do not know if that will help you any.

Someone with more coin than I shall have to ask for more, if tis possible. I do not know how much work might be needed to craft such a thing. If tis complicated, then it may be quite expensive.

[Elissa sounds wary as she speaks to Haruka.]

If I am able to procure such a thing, will it make you feel better about me? I have spoken to another so affected during that time who is certain we were under another's control.

Hai, it was just an idea. I never even thought something like that was possible. It would make me feel better. I talked to Chime, too, you know. Still does not make me trust you. Or him.

[She adds the last half out of rebellion.]

But the magic thing will help.

Chime and I trust each other even though he was one of my victims. I confess that an amulet would make me feel better as well. You may find it difficult to believe, but I do not exactly enjoy what happened and I do not wish for it to happen again.

[Haruka rolls her eyes on the other side of the screen. She really can't understand why people would be upset about this?]

Not liking what you did does not mean it cannot happen again. I will trust you when it does not. You can't make what you did go away overnight, Elissa-san.

[The Warden clenches her teeth in frustration.]

I. Understand. That. What I wish that you could understand is that it wasn't truly me that committed those acts! How can you blame me when it was another who caused me to do it?

That is what angers me so. Your lack of trust is perfectly understandable, but tis not as if I would normally do such things!

I don't know anything about magic, but I do know enough about plants that I might be useful. A couple of months ago Briar and Kaidan had a garden here, but I don't know that it still exists.

Would you be willing to meet, ser? I would gladly show you the elfroot that I have in my possession. Tis a wildflower in my homeland, but it is often cultivated by healers for potions and poultices. All that I have are plants that were picked in Ferelden and carried around in my pack for future use. Tis my hope that someone can find a way to grow them here.

I am not certain whether anyone who was with us on the ship is going to be inclined to trust your 'medicinal potions'.

Not even if someone else verifies they are legitimately crafted for healing? I know not how to make healing items and if what I have might help another, then perhaps I can make up for what happened when I was not myself.

Perhaps they'll have you drink them first and see what happens. Were you not yourself when you decided to carry around a bag full of poison?

I arrived here with them. Poison was very useful in the war against the Darkspawn and the Archdemon. That does not mean that I *only* had poison with me, however. When one is at war, one also needs items to heal wounds.

You ask quite a lot, miss, especially knowing there are those that would wish to keep their skills secret.

That said, given the presence of seeds in the samples you have, I believe I could address all of your concerns.

[He lets the tone of his voice as well as the manner of his speech mimic her own. Which serves the dual purpose of making him less recognizable later as well as putting her at ease with the familiarity.]

In my homeland, those with magic were feared by many and rounded up by the Chantry to be schooled in what amounted to little more than a prison. I understand those who might not want to reveal their powers to the world at large.

How shall I get the elfroot to you? Currently, I am in the forests between the two cities.

[This might sound familiar to Atticus, if he remembers speaking with Kozmotis about sparring.]

[Oh it does sound familiar and he cocks a brow at that. Curious, but not curious enough to comment on.]

I'm heading back to Poseidon from the West as is. I'll be cutting through that area on my way.

[He might have to ask Genesis to meet this woman though... but then the two of them are in each other's company so often that it wouldn't be difficult at all for Elissa to put two and two together. ]

If you give me a few more specifics I can send an owl to obtain the elfroot from you. [And she need never know it's him.]

[Elissa has been around enough magic that she doesn't really react much at all to the thought of an owl coming to get the elfroot. In fact, she assumes that it will probably be this man transformed into the bird since she has seen Morrigan become other creatures and she has seen Kozmotis do the same.]

We are building a home, so if you listen for the sound of falling trees or hammering, and lots of cursing from my voice, we can likely be easily found.

How will I know this owl from another?

[It's an uncommon enough ability where he's from that he really wouldn't expect that kind of assumption. Just something he'll have to address when he realizes that's what she's thinking.]

Are you used to seeing owls flying around at midday?

While I resent the term...'Witch' and would prefer to be called a scholar...I am quite skilled at the making of ter'angreal and could easily provide you with a mental shield.

I did not mean to offend, my lady. Tis merely one of the other terms that I have heard in my homeland - albeit a rather derogatory one there as well. I feared there would be some unfamiliar with the word 'mage.' I fought a war with a powerful mage at my side who became like a sister to me - and there were some who called her witch, though they learned not to do so in my presence.

I have few valuables in my possession, but perhaps we can come to some sort of agreement for a trade of services?

[Lanfear doesn't have a name for the woman, but she seems nobly born so the common moniker of 'mistress' seems out of place.]

I shall be honest with you - my skills are based upon stealth, poisoned blades, and battle, but I was also once an able steward of my family's holdings. I can sail, too, if that offers any use to you.
