[As per usual, though you can't see Jack will be getting a video of nothing other than the scenery outside of Poseidon, those you can, will see him, of course! Text below follows soon after, even if he does want to say something but this wasn't really for the people who already knew him.]

Probably should have expected all the new faces but I really didn't. New timeline, new faces, gotta keep remembering that. In any case, I'm numero tres on the Spirit That Needs to be Believed In list. I'm Jack Frost.

[A pause in the typing...]

Yes, that Jack Frost. No, my parents weren't being weird or anything. The name I had before I became Jack Frost doesn't have much in common other than my first name. I know I'm not as popular as Tooth or North... er, Santa to you guys. But I really do exist and contrary to what some people say, no I'm not an invisible mutant kid with ice powers. I don't have the X-Gene, nor does it actually occur on my version of Earth. I'm just your common nature spirit that happens to be the one bringing Winter to you guys and working double time lately because of global warming.

But I doubt you want to hear me rant about that. If anything else, I would really appreciate it if you guys put aside your disbelief and actually believe in Tooth, Akito, and I. I know it seems simple, since I am here typing this all out but it's not as simple as you think. You really have to truly believe I'm Jack Frost, I'm the Spirit of Winter who nips at your nose. Tooth is the Tooth Fairy who leaves behind goodies after taking the tooth/teeth you left under your pillow, and Akito is a Wind Spirit, responsible for keeping the winds in check. It really shouldn't be that hard but some of you guys are surprisingly stubborn than most adults.

And adults are unknown territory. Especially for me. I usually deal with kids, after all. Guardian of Fun and responsible for all those awesome snow days that have been existing for a few hundred years now, thank you very much. But seriously, just bear with me. I'm not... used to trying to make adults believe in me. Since you got all that science and logic getting in the way of actually seeing what's, literally, right in front of you.

Oh, it's Berk. It's always cold, and miserable, and it's pretty much the last place that any sane person would live in. But we're Vikings, so really sanity is a bit much to hope for.

Ah! Yes, I've heard of him. Bandit, thief, cossack, good swordsman though. He had a horse last I knew though, and was living in Santoff Klausen after an... altercation with Sable.

[Well, this was sort of different than he was used to, but showing off proof is easy enough. He types out a quick yes before the tree that's in view of the camera blooms with the fern-like frost he's known for.

His staff has a long reach, so it was easy to tap the tree and frost it over.]

Uh... he doesn't do those things anymore. But he's still a good swordsman. And living in the North Pole.

Oooh, Viking. Yeah, that explains it. You guys should just move farther south if the snows too much.

Unfortunately, that doesn't work for everyone.

Why would anyone other than a polar bear live up there? It's not exactly hospitable.

I still made the shrine, you know. In this world. My other time counterpoint must have done the same thing. It's on the rooftop garden of the Flop. I stop by regularly to maintain it.

He made it hospitable, apparently. The Yetis, I'm sure, help him out though.

Everyone knows North by the time I'm around, that's why. But I guess I know him personally because I was recently made into a Guardian by the Man in the Moon.

Did you? I'll have to take a look then. I always liked what you did with it before.

[Kerra watches with interest. Clearly there was something there. And computers couldn't do that.]

Can you...do that over here? Or do you have to touch it? Because I believe you're definitely here. Like, you're an entity and not some trick of the light. But feeling things is usually how I measure real from unreal.

[She's trying. Really. The Force she didn't believe in till it touched her for the first time, though.]

[Kerra's actually out for a walk, so she pans the camera around. It's one of the squares in Poseidon]

Sorry, not sure exactly the name of the place. Looks like by the signs, Whaley Street?

Hmm. Well, need to work on that. But honestly, once I get my head around it it's a pretty cool idea. Could have used you at home in a big way.

I'm glad. [And it elicits a softly amused smile.] It's not often we get to hear first-hand what the spirits think of our handiwork.

I suppose I shouldn't question Tsar Lunaoff's descisions, considering it likely means that the fearlings remain a threat. If you would like someone to tell you more about how to fight them and the Nightmare Men, I know a great deal.

[Because sure enough, after perhaps ten minutes, Jack's found the place and with him, as always, sends a bit of a cool breeze. And on the signs, frost blooms as he hangs off the Whaley Street sign.]

Well, I'm not exactly a spirit that needs a shrine, so my opinion may not matter that much, but I can still like it anyway.

[That much, Jack knew. But they all called him Man in the Moon, mainly because that's what the Man in the Moon preferred.]

Fearlings aren't much of a threat these days. There's Night Mares, but no Nightmare Men.

[Just a king that doesn't have much power anymore.]

[Kerra waits around, but the sudden change in temperature definitely makes her eyebrows rise. And then there's the frost. Well...that certainly wasn't normal. Almost like someone was putting it there. She touches it. And yeah, it's cold. Real cold.

...looking around, Kerra catches a hazy outline of someone just coming into view. Maybe it's just his presence in the Force, or maybe it's him, she's not sure...but there is something there.]

[She looks surprised, to say the least. See, Jedi to believe in the unseen, but there had to be some reason for it.]

Fearlings will always be a threat, until the last of them are snuffed out of existence instead of just trapped somewhere. We made that mistake before and it nearly destroyed the universe.

You may not feel that you 'need' it, but I value your opinion anyway.

So a millennia-old spirit is an expert on genetics, now? [Wanda has no problem believing in magic, or spirits, or Jack Frost himself. She does have a HUGE problem with people claiming there's no such thing as an X-Gene in their world, though.] Can you even hold a book to read? Have you ever even managed to convince a geneticist that you existed for long enough to hold a conversation with them? Who do you think you ARE to make a claim like that?

[Well, Jack found someone who can believe in him. He also struck one heckuva nerve.]

[He would correct her that he's actually not that old, but it's semantics at this point. Instead, he looks annoyed.]

Yes, I can hold a book to read. I'm intangible to solid objects. Just people who don't believe in me. And if I managed to get a geneticist to believe in me, I would probably have an easier time convincing the adults in this place I exist and I wouldn't need to make this sort of memo.

[He frowns, brows furrowing.]

What claim are you talking about? What does this have to do with- oh.

You mean the X-Gene? Well, who are you to claim that it does exist on my world? Hell, I don't exist on other Earths, so what's it to you that it doesn't exist on mine? It's not a claim. Unless my world is super late to the party and all the mutants, and I mean every single one, is that good at hiding it, people would have, at the very least, heard of it by now.

I may play around with kids a lot, but they're also the most talkative bunch when the older kids and adults aren't on the internet.
