[As per usual, though you can't see Jack will be getting a video of nothing other than the scenery outside of Poseidon, those you can, will see him, of course! Text below follows soon after, even if he does want to say something but this wasn't really for the people who already knew him.]

Probably should have expected all the new faces but I really didn't. New timeline, new faces, gotta keep remembering that. In any case, I'm numero tres on the Spirit That Needs to be Believed In list. I'm Jack Frost.

[A pause in the typing...]

Yes, that Jack Frost. No, my parents weren't being weird or anything. The name I had before I became Jack Frost doesn't have much in common other than my first name. I know I'm not as popular as Tooth or North... er, Santa to you guys. But I really do exist and contrary to what some people say, no I'm not an invisible mutant kid with ice powers. I don't have the X-Gene, nor does it actually occur on my version of Earth. I'm just your common nature spirit that happens to be the one bringing Winter to you guys and working double time lately because of global warming.

But I doubt you want to hear me rant about that. If anything else, I would really appreciate it if you guys put aside your disbelief and actually believe in Tooth, Akito, and I. I know it seems simple, since I am here typing this all out but it's not as simple as you think. You really have to truly believe I'm Jack Frost, I'm the Spirit of Winter who nips at your nose. Tooth is the Tooth Fairy who leaves behind goodies after taking the tooth/teeth you left under your pillow, and Akito is a Wind Spirit, responsible for keeping the winds in check. It really shouldn't be that hard but some of you guys are surprisingly stubborn than most adults.

And adults are unknown territory. Especially for me. I usually deal with kids, after all. Guardian of Fun and responsible for all those awesome snow days that have been existing for a few hundred years now, thank you very much. But seriously, just bear with me. I'm not... used to trying to make adults believe in me. Since you got all that science and logic getting in the way of actually seeing what's, literally, right in front of you.

Y'know, being referred to by a centuries old name would have been cool if it didn't come with all that baggage. I'm Jack Frost, Jokul Frosti is an old name. [Yes. He's pouting.] Why would I look terrifying?

Oh, you know, bringing winter, freezing people to death, being destined to fight at Ragnarok, the usual. [and now Hiccup's babbling. To Jokul Frosti. He is so so dead]

But do I seriously look terrifying?

[Because Jamie didn't think he was! Nor did the other kids. Or the people here. Hmph.]

And well, yeah, I bring winter. It's sort of my job. Every season has a spirit that brings them in. But I don't... freeze people to death. Not on purpose, anyway.

...although Ragnarok is a new one. Gotta tell North that one of these days.

Um. [Hiccup has the horrible feeling that answering this one wrong could result in horrible and imminent death]

...Do you want to look terrifying? [Maybe he actually wants to lull people into a false sense of security?]

Really? You don't freeze people? [Hiccup pauses for a moment] Do you prefer murdering people in other ways instead then?

Uh, no. I don't want to look terrifying. I actually rather enjoy having snowball fights with kids and having them be scared of me would be a little counterproductive when trying to get them to have some fun in the snow.

[Okay that's just mean, Hiccup.]

I don't murder people! I don't kill anyone! Not... not on purpose, anyway.

[And now Hiccup's feeling very confused. Why is Jokul Frosti, terrifying frost giant and bringer of winter, looking...upset?]

You...don't? But all the stories about you...

Are just stories! Besides, they're from... like, hundreds of years before I was even born.

But aren't you Jokul Frosti? You said it was your old name.

A lot of us go by a lot of names. I've got Jack Frost, Father Frost, Old Man Winter, Jokul Frosti, the list goes on. But I was told I was Jack Frost and that's what I like to go by.

Jokul Frosti was the Jack Frost before me. There's been more than one of us, I think. Over the years. Maybe the guy before was terrifying and mean but... but I'm not. Any deaths I cause aren't intentional, I swear.

It just... you know, [Wince] comes with the territory.

So Jokul Frosti died, and you took his name? [Did that mean he was from after Ragnarok? Or maybe Jokul Frosti wasn't actually destined to fight at Ragnarok? Hiccup admittedly hadn't really listened that closely to those particular tales...still, either way, Hiccup was definitely glad to be talking to a non-murdering winter spirit, as opposed to the usual murdering kind]

You know, have you ever thought of bringing slightly less winter? Or, maybe even just a bit more than slightly less.

Pretty much. [No one actually told him what happened, but it made sense, he supposed.]

Um... it's not really something I can do. I mean, I try to keep the more intense blizzards away from people but... I can only do so much without going against Nature.

[He gave Hiccup an apologetic look.]

Sometimes... storms need to happen.

[Hiccup sighs] Figures. And of course they probably just all have to happen around Berk...

[He can't help but raise an eyebrow.]

Uh, you do know there's like... an entire planet we spirits gotta go over, right? Besides, my main hub is Burgess, so I don't really know where this Berk is that I apparently keep letting the storms happen.

Unless you're that far north.

Oh, it's Berk. It's always cold, and miserable, and it's pretty much the last place that any sane person would live in. But we're Vikings, so really sanity is a bit much to hope for.

Oooh, Viking. Yeah, that explains it. You guys should just move farther south if the snows too much.

Oh, believe me, I'd love to move somewhere a little less Berk. But, we are Vikings. If dragons couldn't make us move away, the cold sure won't.

You guys have dragons? No way!

Oh, we have dragons. And they're even our friends now - they used to attack the village, but since we figured out why, things have really changed.

[Hiccup neglects to mention that really it was just him - and Astrid - that figured out why. Somehow that just seems a weird thing to mention to people from other worlds. Or you know, just 'people'.]
