Gods below... [A mutter and then Atticus is flopping over on his side to look down on the camera. He's shirtless, laying in the grass in the woods somewhere getting rained on but grinning so wide he must not care. Anyone that knows him will note that he's got his tattoos pressed firmly to the earth beneath him which accounts for the relief in his voice.]

So... uh... [And it takes him a moment to decide what's safe to talk about on the video. He's a little addled after more than a week in Nowhere.] How much trouble has my hound been causing?

[A smirk. Yeah he was going to sprawl out in the grass anyway but there's another reason he's on the ground.] Missed you too, Akito.

[It's a self depreciating sort of humor there, and he just sighs as the two other spirits wisk off with the wind.]

Another time, unless the two of you wish to spend the night in the Lodge. It's not far and I can give you both a ride there, or wherever you're heading.

Oh, it's not that cold. [Cue light shiver. Genesis stopped trying to get the mud off of her clothes and simply crossed her arms, keeping them over her breasts to hide just what the cold does to a woman's body when not wearing a bra.]

I'll be fine. But, er, I suppose we could get out of the rain for a bit. Atticus, what do you want to do?

[She didn't mind either way, but getting out of dirty clothes was a bit of a priority.]

I guess I can see how the younger ones might have some issues with that. [Being that they're both so mischievous and free-spirited... and generals tended to be kind of the opposite of that. Though Koz seems pretty generous, considering.]

I appreciate the offer but... I've been gone for awhile and am kind of eager to see home again. I will definitely swing by sometime soon and we can see about that sparring match.

[A hot shower, a late night snack, and curling up with his friends sounded like a plan for the night, really.]

Oh... you can make cinnamon rolls? [Excuse him while he groans softly and makes foodgasmy faces Christine.]

I never have time to make cinnamon rolls.... unless you count those little pillsbury roll things and that's not really baking.

I made them long ago. But I'm sure if I get the recipe I can do it again. So I'll do real baking. For you.

[It's her way of saying, "Sorry I was upset with you for so long."]

[She lets out an amused laugh, though she's really tickled by the compliment.]

That there's no way of tethering this planet to the planes from my world by magic and that attempting to do so... only sucks the places you try into that mishmash world from just before we came back to this timeline.

I thought... since my magic is different than these witches and stuff here... it might work. Especially on Alban Eiler. I was wrong.

It drew the whole area in? D'you think that's how that place formed to begin with? Other people trying to find a way home.

Yeah, a whole section of forest around the tree I tried to tether. The elemental is not happy with me right now.

It's entirely possible that plane was created that way. Which, considering how large that place is... it's pretty disheartening.
