Uh, so Akito decided to try out not being a spirit. So if you guys seen a teen who looks like a kid running around and getting into trouble... could you make sure he doesn't hurt himself too badly? For someone who can't even use the wind anymore, I can't seem to keep up with all that he does, so some help would be great.

[One of the main reasons he's actually not keeping up with Akito is because he just realized Tooth was gone. Normally, she was easy find but now, she wasn't. And she's someone who just can't miss, so Jack isn't really staying in the city much.

With another smile, he turns off the video and for those who can't see him, a text accompanies this video with more or less the same words he just spoke.]

I'm just short - that doesn't make me look like a kid!

I never said it had anything to do with your height.

Nothing. You just look younger than you are.

I don't want to look younger!

[ he... pulls at his face irritably. APPARENTLY THIS IS REALLY BOTHERING HIM. ]

Akito, stop, you're fine. It's not like you're the only spirit who looks young.

[akito]

If I look like a kid nobody will ever like me though.

[frostedoverland]

Since when do people not like you because you look like a kid?

...Who wants to kiss a kid?

And nobody liked me back home at all anyway.

I wasn't aware you wanted a kiss from someone. [He raised a brow.] Well, I can't speak for their reasons back home but most don't like me either and that has all to do with what I am than what I look like.

Well, I do! [ is actually doing a very good job of not blushing, thankfully. ]

I think they just didn't like that there was suddenly a spirit for the winds when there wasn't one before.

Fall likes to try and beat on me just because I exist. It happens, some spirits just don't like others.

I learned how to run away really fast, so after the first few decades I didn't get beat up anymore.

You can't run when you gotta do your job. Fall knows that.

Ah, I'm lucky and my work is global, so I can do it from anywhere.

He decided to...not be a spirit?

I was not aware that was something one could simply do.

He was curious what the collars would do on a spirit. He'll be a spirit again whenever he's done experimenting.

So that's what the question about the collars was for...

I suppose it is his decision, after all. But I wouldn't know if I'd call it wise to willingly fetter oneself in this way.

His choice but yeah, not sure I'd want to do that myself. I rather enjoy what I can do, even if most of the people here can't see me.

[Oh, she had forgotten about that. Maybe that was a reason to be temporarily human then; to get to interact with people on a normal level. To not have to worry about someone believing or not.]

It's a good thing to find strength and confidence in being one's self. Even if it isn't always the most comfortable thing.

There was a time when if I could've changed what I was like I would have, to make my family happy and to better fit in. But it's good that I didn't. In the end, I make a much better warrior than I ever would a wife or the perfect daughter.

It was his idea to do this. I don't think he remembers what it's like to be human anymore.

Would losing his powers really be the same thing? [That's a rhetorical question, Jack. Really. Siiiigh]

I'll try to keep an eye on him as much as I can with the renovations and work. Maybe he and Oberon can occupy each other while I'm at the smithy.

[He just shrugs. Rhetorical or not, Jack didn't know half the things that went through Akito's mind. The kid was eccentric, to say the least.]

Oberon seems to like him a lot, so I'm sure he'd be a good babysitter. Don't feel like you have to watch out for him if you can't do it though, I was just letting people know since most people didn't know what Akito looked liked.

Yeah, thick as thieves, those two. It worries me a little honestly. [Akito is going to end up teaching his hound bad habits. Like dumpster diving.]

Yeah, it's good to keep people informed but I'll try to check in with him regularly anyway.
