Genesis is gone now too.
[ he pauses, then adds the same message in text format for those who can't see him for lack of belief. ]
The Winds can't find her at all.
[ which might explain any sudden breezes that Pepper, Jack, Elissa, and Christine may have been wrapped with momentarily shortly before his announcement. just checking in on his friends and important people. ]
So many of the friends I've made are disappearing. I'm sad they're not still here, even if it's selfish.
[ he ends the video feed and switches entirely to text. ]
I think I would like more things to fill my time with.

text.
[ You could assume, anyway. A pause, then a second reply: ]
you said you're a mechanic? got something you could take a look at.
[ Shepard may be a little 'tough love', but she gets it, and she'll see if she can't toss the kid a distraction or two. ]
text.
I am to some degree.
What is it that you have?
back to video.
Can't get my damn armor on with this thing. My lieutenant's got some ideas, but it wouldn't hurt to get a few more heads together.
text! because he still doesn't know if she can see him or not ffft
Have you tried to remove it normally yet?
text again
[ Because it's hooked to her actual spine, not that she's planning on explaining that over the network. It may be more secure now, but she's still not ready to trust it. ]
text again

Just something different you know??
I think I would be too scared of messing up and making things worse with your collar though.

[ aaand we're back to tough love. but she feels kind of bad about it (not too bad, just a little), so she follows up with: ]
you're sick of training, so this thing's all i've got. sorry kid
text.
And the chance of maybe causing them harm
I will always be a coward.
Thank you for the thought, miss!!
It is appreciated :)
text.
So after a bit longer pause: ]
