[If anyone was wondering where one werewolf happened to be, well, here he is, looking a bit embarrassed. He's obviously made his way out of the ship, and back to his own apartment in the Old City, given the background isn't the ship, but a dimly lit and sparsely decorated living room.]

This is Randolph Lyall. I thought I should probably let everyone know I've returned, now. It doesn't look like I was out of commission for very long, at least, though if anything major has changed, or anything minor that I ought to know about, do please let me know.

I will say, the experience of waking up in that ship again was... disconcerting. I appear to be as I was, however, minus a week or two of pay. Though apparently my motorbike has vanished. Wes, if you find this message, if you would be so kind as to let me know if it's at that apartment. I'll come fetch it, if so.

[Which will be a pain if it is, but more of a pain if it's disappeared entirely, which is what he's afraid happened.]

Otherwise, well. I suppose I shall see you all in person again come the weekend.

Ah, no, I'm afraid I wound up back on the ship. It looks like it was only for a week and a handful of days.

[Please don't be chagrined, Professor. It was a busy time with the fog and storm.]

I wish we knew what caused that. A couple others have gone back in recently and those are only the ones I know of. If you slipped past my notice, there might be more.

[It still makes him think that he's been too out of touch with the people from the ship, though.]

Perhaps there should be some kind of accounting of people still about.

[Hey, it'd help Lyall, too. He's not sure if anyone vanished while he was out, either.]

I suppose we could do it here, though if I recall there was some concern over the security of these devices before I vanished?

Right. When in doubt, it's best to meet in person. But I'm sure those who don't like to use these things are in contact with at least one person from the Ship who are, so you could account for the missing through their friends.

An idea. I'm not sure if I'm the best sort to be organizing a thing like that, really, but if I can't find anyone else, someone still ought to do it.

[He's still obviously considering it, albeit a little dubiously. He's not a spotlight kind of fellow, after all.]

Why not? Aren't you a people person? Besides, it's really just a headcount, isn't it? You don't have to hold a long conversation with each of us.

[He gives her a ssmall smile.]

I am, after a fashion, good with people. But I am not generally a leader, I'm not the one people see, I'm the one who handles the things in the background. Being out in front is decidedly uncomfortable.

I suppose if I can't find someone else to handle it, I might as well, though.

You'll do great. I'm sure of it.

[She smiles, trying to bolster his nerve.]

And I'm one person you can mark off the list.

[He chuckles a bit. She's sweet, anyway. His nerves are less the problem than what he feels is his general calling in unlike. But still, she's sweet.]

Indeed. I'll see about a general headcount when I get back into town this weekend, then.
