[Video + Action] | Sunday morning
[Lyall's showing his face again, this morning, before he heads off back to the Old City for the work-week. The background is the common room of the Flop, just inside. He clears his throat, almost as if he isn't entirely sure how to begin, but he manages well enough.]
I was thinking that some of us have lost track of our numbers. We keep appearing and disappearing, returning to pods or vanishing off on adventures. I was hoping that perhaps we could get a headcount.
[He holds up a clipboard.]
Or rather, I could, and I'd share it with the network as a whole, since I'm doing the work as it is. In a more electronic form, I assure you, this--
[He taps the clipboard, then sets it down again.]
--is just for myself. I am a bit old-fashioned still, I fear. If everyone still about could check in, I would appreciate it. I'm in the lobby of the Flop, if anyone would prefer to come calling rather than speak here. I'll be here until sundown, though I may be back after a day or two, as well.
Thank you, everyone.
[And he signs off, waiting for, he hopes, people to give him a buzz. He hopes. He's not too sure about all this, but he's giving it a shot.]

[Lyall has a smile for her. They were both stuck in the same time, after all, so while they may not exactly be friends, he does consider her an ally and compatriot of sorts.]
It is indeed good to see you. I'll mark you down, of course.
Well I guess it's good to know you still remember me.
[Not that she really expects he would've forgot.]
[He doesn't really think she thought he would, either.]
How have you been settling in, in this new version of things, if you don't mind my asking?
I've been doing well for myself, I suppose. At times it still feels like a lot to all take in. What about yourself?
[He half-bows in his seat. If he'd been wearing a hat, he'd have doffed it.]
I am doing well enough, myself, though this is a tad bit closer to what I'm used to than the previous timeline. I welcome regular employment, occasional use of my investigatory skills, and consistent running water. Though I am starting to feel I may be housed a bit too far from the rest of us from the ship.
How do you come to that conclusion?
And hopefully you don't intend to go disappearing again any time soon.
I did not intend to, last time, either. But no, I have no plans to return to those pods.
I simply need to find suitable employment here, if I do intend to move, which can be tricky given I must work at night rather than during the day.
