Experiment 001 // Video (backdated to Thursday morning, Week 34)

[That's just a little disconcerting, to wake up in a pod, and memories, hazy at first, then firming, of another awakening, and time passing before she is swallowed by darkness. Jane sits up, and hurries out of the pod, clothes just slightly rumpled, her notebook and the device firmly in hand. She steps out of the ship, before turning to her device, and flips it on.]

Question. Hi. It's Jane Foster, and I think I've returned. So back to the question, how long have I been gone and is Pepper still here?

Certainly! Though the roof is still not entirely whole. We are working on that!

[The excalamation points just keep coming. He's excited, okay?]

I will meet you there, in a few moments. It is good to see you Jane....

[And indeed, he will meet her there. In fact, he's there waiting for her, outside in the street. He kind of flew there, though he did it close to the ground... not supposed to catch attention, and all.]

[just like a golden retriever. You're lucky she likes dogs and blond Asgardian gods of thunder, Thor.]

I'll be there. Not as fast as you, I think. Short legs, and all. Who's we?

[she's hurrying away from the ship now, into town, trying to notice all the changes since she 'left' the first time.]</small

[He answers once he's landed again. The view behind him is the familiar apartment building. His grin is a bit sheepish.]

I am content to wait!

[Just not too long.]

The we... is a bit complicated. You were aware of there being alternate versions of worlds and people, before you went back into your pod, aye? That there may be someone who is slightly different from the person you know?

[Thor is not that great at going round-about. Direct is usually his thing. But jumping in to "it's my brother" is a little... overwhelming to most people from their universe. Hence why it comes out kind of awkwardly.]

[Jane's too busy hauling ass to pay much attention to her device, but she's making her way up, slightly out of breath, to stand near Thor.]

Of course, and different time points. Let me take a wild guess, that we're talking about somebody we should know mutually?

[Actiooooon!]

[As soon as she was in sight, the communicator went back into the singular pocket Thor's current outfit-- he's not actually in his armor, but some local tunic with a little embroidered embellishment-- because who needs that when there's the real thing? There's a moment where he looks like he might be unsure what to do, but Thor is an Asgardian of action, if nothing else, so he gets over that pretty quickly.

And of course, the first thing he does is loop an arm around her and pull her close. Talking about Loki can wait. He has his girl.]

[Well, that's one way to distract Jane, Thor. She squeaks a little, but doesn't resist. She pauses a beat, just smiling up at him.]

Hi.

[He smiles down at her, just... happy to have her there. He bends his head down to rest his forehead to hers, not quite far enough down to kiss yet, and sounds almost teasing when he replies simply:]

Hello.

[Jane giggles, letting her questions fall to the wayside for now, happy to see Thor again. For her, it had only been a few months, not counting her stay here, or her 'hibernation', since she had seen him. She's not content to stay still in his arms for long, her body closing the gap as her arms wrapped around Thor's neck, her mouth seeking his.]

[That's totally all right. Thor rather likes his women forward, thank you very much. He chuckles just a little against her mouth, then wraps his other arm around her to participate most enthusiastically.

There may even be a break from the kiss to pick her up and spin her. ... actually, nevermind the may. After a moment, he just does it, levering her up by his arms around her waist and spin.]

[Jane hasn't gotten as far as she has in her field by being a shy maiden, that's for certain. She pulls away from the kiss, her arms looped around him while they spun in place, happy to see each other here in this very strange world that wasn't quite Earth.]
