Hmm. Well, I am definitely mortal. The only spirits on my world are those of the Fade - some of whom are quite evil.

I did meet a Spirit of a Forest once, but she gave up her life to free others from a curse.

They are malicious spirits from the Fade that have the power to possess objects or people. The Fade is a world of dreams where men travel when they sleep - all except the Dwarven people who do not. Mages can pass through the veil into the Fade without sleeping.

Tis a bit complicated. A mage from my world could explain it better.

This is generally only applicable to mortals, but if they don't believe that I exist, they won't see me. Instead of 'seeing is believing' it is 'believing is seeing'.

It can be! It's just been centuries since I felt this way. Even then, there was enough belief to keep me sustained until I built up my believers to where I never had to worry.
