I: [video]

[Koz can't do much with the storm going on so he's going to make some conversation with the people at large here.]

While I'm aware that english, or at least a variation on it, is the language most used here I'm curious what other ones people know or are more comfortable with at the very least. I'm familiar with quite a few so if there's one you'd prefer speaking in I'm more than willing to oblige.

A language barrier shouldn't be a reason for us to be unable to work together and if anyone wishes to learn a language I'm more than willing to teach.

[There's a pause.]

I'm also wondering if anyone skilled with a sword could use a sparring partner, I seem to be short one.

[Elissa groans at the news of the end of the other supplies.]

Tis a shame. An apple would have been a lovely finish to fill up the empty nooks and crannies. I feel amazingly sated for the first time in ages.

[She places one hand upon her belly as she stretches out a bit. The other hand lifts to cover a small burp.]

Grey Warden hunger is a burden in-and-of itself. Do not expect any fighting from me until I have digested some of this lovely venison. After that? Watch your back.

[She winks.]

Out of all the spirits I've met here so far from my world I seem to be the furthest ahead.

Do you know extinct animals' languages?

Like I said, I pretty much only know how to insult someone's mother in most alien languages. Well, there's the trade tongue, too but.

[Shepard speaks for a moment in a somewhat garbled language, which is a simplified mix of Asari and Turian dialects, primarily.]

It is very simple and not used often.

I haven't used it much since getting a sub-dermal translator.

Ah, basically, when you join the ShinRa Company, you start out as a trooper and such. Sooner or later, you become eligible to join SOLDIER. Should you make it through the mako tests, which is a substance that augments one's abilities and human capabilities, you join as a Third Class. First Class, of course, is the highest. I am one of four in First Class.

[Or. Well. She was. Given she had deserted. But that isn't something she needed to talk about now.]

If you can jump tall buildings or even strike through walls, then things should be fine?

[Elissa's eyes are getting heavy after all of that food, but she faintly smiles and drowsily murmurs.]

Remind me to try to redirect some of your wonderfully violent tendencies into other physical exertions sometime soon. If Thor happens to reply to you, say hello? I want to spar with him as well.

[She closes one eye, peeking from beneath the lashes of the other. She does a fair job of keeping a cheeky grin at bay.]

Probably not. It updates through the extranet back in my galaxy, and only has databases for species that have established themselves there. It isn't universal.

I am the youngest so far.

Then do you understand the dinosaurs that are here?

I am almost 100.
How old are you?

Do you need a reason to speak with them
Or is it okay to just talk to them for conversation?

That isn't very surprising.

So are they very different from birds??
Most birds I meet like to talk!

Maybe!

You should say hello to them sometime then.
Maybe they would like to have a conversation!

I don't know - there are some very old people here!

Maybe I will try to say hello to them one day then.
Especially if I will be living in the same area as them.

If Mother Nature was here she would definitely be older.
But so far you are the oldest I've heard of in this place.

Who says it is harassing, or that they are hungry??
They would not be able to bit me anyway.

[Thor usually defaults to amiability, and with no terrible tales out of his past being replayed in front of him, he's at his default at the moment. The default turns into a pleased smile.]

Very good! Perhaps we can set up a time and place soon. I have not done much in the way of practice since my arrival here. Active battle, certainly, but no simply practice.
