3 ۞ [Video/Text]
[As per usual, though you can't see Jack will be getting a video of nothing other than the scenery outside of Poseidon, those you can, will see him, of course! Text below follows soon after, even if he does want to say something but this wasn't really for the people who already knew him.]
Probably should have expected all the new faces but I really didn't. New timeline, new faces, gotta keep remembering that. In any case, I'm numero tres on the Spirit That Needs to be Believed In list. I'm Jack Frost.
[A pause in the typing...]
Yes, that Jack Frost. No, my parents weren't being weird or anything. The name I had before I became Jack Frost doesn't have much in common other than my first name. I know I'm not as popular as Tooth or North... er, Santa to you guys. But I really do exist and contrary to what some people say, no I'm not an invisible mutant kid with ice powers. I don't have the X-Gene, nor does it actually occur on my version of Earth. I'm just your common nature spirit that happens to be the one bringing Winter to you guys and working double time lately because of global warming.
But I doubt you want to hear me rant about that. If anything else, I would really appreciate it if you guys put aside your disbelief and actually believe in Tooth, Akito, and I. I know it seems simple, since I am here typing this all out but it's not as simple as you think. You really have to truly believe I'm Jack Frost, I'm the Spirit of Winter who nips at your nose. Tooth is the Tooth Fairy who leaves behind goodies after taking the tooth/teeth you left under your pillow, and Akito is a Wind Spirit, responsible for keeping the winds in check. It really shouldn't be that hard but some of you guys are surprisingly stubborn than most adults.
And adults are unknown territory. Especially for me. I usually deal with kids, after all. Guardian of Fun and responsible for all those awesome snow days that have been existing for a few hundred years now, thank you very much. But seriously, just bear with me. I'm not... used to trying to make adults believe in me. Since you got all that science and logic getting in the way of actually seeing what's, literally, right in front of you.

Anyway. You're a magic thingy who makes winter happen? I've got that right?

Um... I guess just think of it like this. All the things that science explains? Chemicals and gravity and... stuff? Well, instead of just that, there's also magical beings doing the work too.
We don't really negate what science revealed, just sort of... help it along. I guess?
[IS HE DOING IT RIGHT?]

[She's just never run into anything but a few ridiculous cults and her dad's thin Christianity, which always just struck her as his way of donning widow's weeds. She just assumed it was fake, the fault of lost hope and a bunch of drugs. But if that's what he is, only real, at least she can kind of link that to an existing psychological framework.]

[It's like if the wonky stuff that came out of the crazy people were true. Kinda like a Grognak the Barbarian comic. It's just a story about seasonal spirits instead of sacred swamps or universes inside atoms released by bombs. She can work with that.]

[A valid question since it seemed like she was understand what it took to see him. Of course, the question was, did she actually believe or not. He knew there was a line to cross with most adults into putting aside what they knew and just... trusted what they saw. Pepper's words were true but it wouldn't ever stop Jack from trying.
Not while he was on Verdana, anyway. Whenever he goes back, he would go back to rely on kids since those are the ones who needed him the most. On Verdana, it was the adults and teens, it seemed. Well, not so much as needed as he was there to help. But he just didn't want to be the invisible kid. It was like the middle ground of no one knowing he existed and seeing him.
It sucked.]
[Suddenly video]
Yup.
[Video
That's awesome, I'm glad.

[She was quite amused to see that he looked about Todd's age, or even less, and was kind of a cutie-pie in general, even more by her standards than in general. Apparently, spirits looked like kids from prewar advertisements.]
Now you're cooking with science.
