While I'm aware that english, or at least a variation on it, is the language most used here I'm curious what other ones people know or are more comfortable with at the very least. I'm familiar with quite a few so if there's one you'd prefer speaking in I'm more than willing to oblige.

A language barrier shouldn't be a reason for us to be unable to work together and if anyone wishes to learn a language I'm more than willing to teach.

I'm also wondering if anyone skilled with a sword could use a sparring partner, I seem to be short one.

I know various languages, though I would't call myself fluent in any of them. I know enough Spanish, Portuguese and Hindi to get by, among other things.

That's quite a variety, though effective communication is a bit more important than perfect fluency.

If it's been spoken on the european continent in the past... ten thousand years it's safe to assume I know it. The same holds true for most of north american continent and I speak a good deal of the semitic languages from Akkadian onwards.

[He pauses for a moment.]

I also speak every language of the animal kingdom.

Though I read and write far fewer than I speak.

Mind you, I don't much get involved in humanity's affairs but I can certainly share what I do know about things.

I've been called a number of things, though I've been watching over humanity since they were in caves and needed guarding from the monsters in the dark.

The phrase 'Celestial Guardian' translates about the closest.
